The next morning, I print off the document waiting on my computer and survey it carefully.

"Lost: Large gold-looking helmet. Not worth anything, and holds sentimental value. Please call (your phone number) if found, reward $200."

"I made this," I say when I get downstairs, holding it out. "We're gonna go and put them up today."

"Do you know how much that helmet is actually worth?" Loki queries, looking slightly aghast.

"No, but if I say it's a priceless extra-terrestrial artifact, nobody would give it back." I point out, and he considers this, then nods.

The drive around Bright's surrounding towns isn't that long, but since we're stopping every few kilometres it takes an hour. We stick the posters to almost every notice board we can find, and eventually I decide that we should go home. There's only so much I can do, and if Loki is looking for the helmet as well then it should be enough.

"So why are we even looking for a helmet in the first place?" I ask as we pull into my driveway.

"It's a long story." He sighs, unbuckling his seatbelt and opening the door.

"We've got time," I say as I come around the front of the car, heading towards the door.

"My brother's friends thought it would be funny," he says shortly, and that's all I can get out of him for the rest of the day.
