When a God Falls (LokixFemaleReader) [COMPLETED]

Author's Note and Trigger Warning - Please Read!

Hi... Um... where do I start?

I published this story years ago and it's been clocking up views and votes ever since. However, I was really unhappy with it, and until recently I didn't have any motivation to fix it.

Enter COVID-19 and isolation! I have time! I have motivation (boredom)! Finally, I can begin the noble task of editing this train wreck of a fanfic, as written by 13 year-old me. So here's the edited version.

Note that the plot is pretty different due to my increased writing skills and understanding of characters, so if you liked the old one then... It doesn't matter, this is way better for so many reasons. 

Also, I'd like to add that this story contains a lot of potential triggers. It includes:

- death of people close to you (such as family)
- estranged parents
- car crashes
- explosions
- injuries due to fire 
- self esteem issues 
- PTSD and other mental health problems such as mild depression and anxiety
- graphic descriptions
- explicit/semi-explicit sex
- drug/alcohol use/abuse
- threats of violence and actual violence

As well as many I am sure I haven't thought of. I apologise to anyone who may find such themes particularly confronting or who are sensitive around these issues, and I want you to understand that I am in no way romanticising any of the above or mocking anyone's struggles with anything. I try to keep a lot of this story relatively light-hearted, as I'm not really a "doom and gloom" kind of person, however life isn't all sunshine and rainbows as I'm sure you're all aware, and I need excuses to put in certain plot details/character traits and development.
