Josie's POV
After that talk with Penelope, I don't what to think again! She said she would always love me.....and I think I feel the same, but Lizzie is right she broke me and there is no telling if she'll do it again. I walked to my first period class but there was no sign of Penelope. When the bell rang, my body urged me to go to Penelope's room to.....see if she was okay, but my mind said I should just go to class so I don't fall behind. I feet started walking toward Penelope's room and I could stop myself, I was also curious if she was okay. Once I got to Penelope's room I was scared to knock. What if she not even in there? I gathered the bravery and knocked twice. I heard footsteps heading towards the door. And then there she was. Penelope looked like she had just woke up, with messy hair, sweatpants and a hoodie on.. she looked cute.
"Come in." Penelope says opening the door wider. I walked in slowly, it had been a while since I've been in her room. The last time I was in here was when we were still dating. I sat down on the corner of the bed while setting my books down on the floor.
"Why aren't you going to class?" I asked. Penelope laid down on her bed awful close to me but I wasn't complaining.
"Because I don't want to." Penelope says look in my eyes. I have the feeling she knew I was going to come to her room to check on her. She seems to be very confident even though we're alone in a room together.
"Come on Penelope give me an actual reason. Please?" I said this made her soften up. She lifted herself so that our faces weren't that far apart. Every atom in my body was telling me to kiss her but I stopped myself just so I can hear what she has to say.
"The real reason was because I didn't know how I was going to control myself around you. Your just so perfect and I can't believe I let you go." Penelope said. My heart was pounding. She started to inch herself closer to me until our lips met in the middle. Her lips were soft and gently. Just as she was about to pull away I grabbed her and deepen the kiss. It had been so long since we've kissed I wanted it to last forever. I started to pull away from kiss and Penelope let me I had to ask her,
"Do you think we have a chance?" I asked as I rested my forehead on hers. She smiled at me.
"Hell yeah." She said and with that I moved to kiss her again. I laid down on the bed as Penelope climb on top of me. We couldn't stop touching each other. It had been so long since we held each other that we just never wanted to let go.
