CHAPTER 13 SPOOKY NIGHTS

Sam POV
We were currently sitting in mason's car for a long drive and enjoying our little road trip , well both the families decided to go for campaign and hence we split into two cars

Me , Alison , Liam and Mason are in one car and our parents in another.

We are currently four hours away from our destination

"Does he always snore like this?"mason  asked pulling my attention to him

I look at his fingers pointing at passenger seat where liam was literally snoring and snoring loudly

I hear Alison chuckle and I knew she was thinking something dam gross and yukk stuffs in her gutter mind

" No , may be he is tired " I reply shrugging my shoulders

And started looking outside , you know what I think roadtrips are amazing at start of the journey we become excited we talk ,have fun , do shit stuffs at middle of our journey we get bored and end up sleeping and the not so easy coming end I specially I get irritate with the fact that we are not reaching  and currently I am at the end phase were I am pissed off as hell because we are not reaching.

After two more hours we finally arrived at campaign area by the time we set out tents and setup everything it was evening and dark was falling

We were having our dinner and were talking when elders decided to leave us alone

It was getting late and the atmosphere was spooky making me shiver due to sudden change in atmosphere its not that I am scared its just that I can't tolerate such dark environment .....

And all thanks to mason who very well is aware of me not liking this so called spooky atmosphere started telling us ghost stories

All I want to do right now is run inside my tent but being not liking the SPOOKY ATMOSPHERE I am not ready to be alone

"There is a story about this place you know " mason stated looking straight into my eyes ...
To be honest these are the times I am even afraid to look into his eyes  , they always hold the scary gaze at me and I turn to look at Alison who was actually enjoying seeing me like this

Why is she my best friend even ? When she always end up bulling me with mason

"Hey Sam" mason called me with a smirk on his face
I raise my eyebrows and slightly shift towards liam who is not aware of these two evil people's intention....

"There is this story you know
....the road through which we came is haunted and the night in this area actually has its own life..... You know what I mean .... Like different kinds of creatures even monsters..... And ghost.... Once  there was a man who was going home late at night it was around 10 and it was quiet , not even a single vehicle was there on road accept of his and it was a new moon night just like today it is ... They say on new moon night this whole place is haunted by creatures and their powers are stronger today then other days

suddenly his car stopped and no gas station is near by as you yourself has seen on our way here  , no help nothing he was left there all alone , he saw a car heading to his way and he waved at it , instead of stopping it came direct to him and ... He .. Had no time to react and within a second it got past through him ... And stopped... He was so scared, confused, it was unbelievable because he didn't no weather and how he escaped death or it is still on its way as the car doors open

He stepped back and saw  someone getting out because of the night without moon and street light he wasn't able to see the other man properly ...

You know he himself don't know  the hell happened that night he found himself at a different surrounding all of a sudden he was in middle of this jungle.....
