  You Didn't Know, Did You?
     She was just a little girl. 7 years old, with fairy tales and dreams interwoven into the fabric of her favorite pj's.
     You remember those, don't you? The ones with the Unicorns riding on Rainbows?
     Just like you were riding on dreams. Dreams of marrying Austin Moon.
     Dreams of being the best dancer in the world. But, they were all just dreams, weren't they little one?
     You were just a little one, chilling at your Grandma's house. Eating at your Dora table.
     Now, at they VERY mature age of seven, you had outgrown Dora. But you had NOT outgrown your Rainbows and Unicorns.
     Watching TV. Austin and Ally, to be exact.
     The BEST show out there, in your opinion. Eating.
     Spaghetti and peaches. Weird combo, right?
     Don't knock it till you try it though. Speaking of knock, that's what she heard.
     A knock at the door, her grandfather had a key, so that couldn't be him. Besides, he didn't get off work until later so who was it?
     And then it dawned on her, it was her parents. But she didn't go home until tomorrow so why were they here?
     Oh, she just didn't know, did she? What happens after this gets a little hazy, but what she does remember is her dad telling her that her uncle has passed away.
     She imagined him in a hospital bed with the beep-beep thingy. What was it called?
     She didn't know. She thought it was called... Never mind.
     We're way off topic, aren't we baby girl? It was August 14, 2014.
     A Wednesday, if she remembers correctly. The day her uncle "passed away".
