Somewhere, between dimensions, a Demon keeps his eye peeled for the arrival of someone with more abilities than he does. They just don't know how they will be played like a pawn in a game of chess. The demon floats towards the gash in space and observes the two figures. "Hahaha, this is just perfect! Their binding will drive them apart, and it SHOULD prevent what happened the last time.."
The demon lets out a shrill laugh before turning towards the gang behind him. "It's almost time folks! When my plan gets into gear, we'll be free!" The crowd cheers and before returning to what they were doing.
