Four years later...

Zadie POV

"Mom I know! I'm going to hand in my sizes for my cap and gown right now so relax. I have it all under control." I said to my mom walking through campus.

I was finally graduating from my dream college and I had everything I wanted in life, Almost everything.

I had a great boyfriend, a potential career, and a positive future coming my way with everything I have worked so hard for. I still have Amie of course, She is still my best friend and always will be my right hand women.

My mom and dad are still together and my mother match making business has gone full swing and gone global. She now travels the world and gives seminar's on how to find a partner and personal growth tips, go figure.

"I'm just making sure you have it all under control. And double check the time and date of graduation because you told us the wrong information.  You know I'm not in town right now and I would love to see my oldest daughter graduate. " My mom said to me. I rolled my eyes at the reference of my baby sister Faye, its been four years and it feels like just yesterday. I think about her everyday and I can never shake the guilt that she isn't here.

I would be lying if I said that my life doesn't involve the the L5 anymore. I have seen Shannon around town when I've gone home and other members who were involved when Tristen and I first started dating. The men still gives me looks and the women who were friends with Lisa still gave me a hard time.

Papa Cole quickly put a stop to that. Once he and Tristen mentioned it to him the treatment I was getting no one even motioned towards me anymore. Lindo still runs the L5 along side Mont and so far they've stuck to their word of trying to do better in the community.

I shake my doubts and walked into my designated building and snap back to my mother on the phone who keeps repeating "hello".

"Yes mother, I can hear you. I will double check and then call you to give you an update. Okay?" I said forcing my fake smile through the teeth.

"Tuck the sarcasm sweetie. Just let me and your father know so we can be there. Bye now." My mom said and ended the call.

I took a deep breath and handed in my packet to the woman at the front desk. She smiled up at me and took my packet. "Congratulations." She said smiling at me.

"Thank you, I'm so excited to be leaving this place. I'm surprised I made it." I said genuinely with a smile.

"I'm not, this place will test the crap out of you mentally and physically. It prepares you for the real world and gives you some of the best experiences. Be happy that you have the opportunity to have a degree." The secretary said

"I'll keep that in mind." I said and nodded at her before walking out. I looked down at my phone and saw that My love was calling me, I cleared my throat before answering.

"Hello" I said with a smile

"Wassup baby?"

"Just dropping off my cap and gown papers. What are you up to?" I asked

"I'm in bed right now, where you supposed to be. Can you come here right now or you got class?"

"I'm already on my way." I said and we hung up

Tristen

I was scrolling on my phone and someone started knocking on my front door, well more like banging on it. I threw the covers off me and walked over to it. The wind hit my shirtless chest and gave me a chill.

I stretched and fixed my shorts before looking through the peep hole. I smirked when I say my girl standing there checking herself out in her phone. "Who is it." I asked loudly startling her
