Zadie
I was in the room packing with Amie and Lilly, and Amie has been sitting here staring at me for the past fifteen minutes now.
"What is it?" I asked her
"How are you holding up?" She asked
"Well let's see. I just found out that a guy who I was starting to think was worth leaving my boyfriend for, is the brother of my ex who I killed a few years ago. So that means he knows who I am and he knows more then likely what I did because I was one of the people who helped put his father away." I said
"Are you going to confront him?" Amie asked
"What would I say? I know your up to no good now stop it?" I asked sarcastically and continued to pack my clothes.
"I don't know but we have to do something. He can't just play these games with you." Amie said
"I feel like we should be stressing about what jobs were going to get right now, not who were going to get revenge on." I said
"Your right. But this is the life we live for the men we love." Amie said
"What are they willing to do for the women that they love?" I asked Amie
"They left the life behind. If it wasn't for us they would still be in the L5." Amie pointed out.
"I guess your right, but we still handle and deal with a lot more of them than they do for us." I said
"Your completely right. Maybe it'll change one day." Amie said with a sad look on her face.
I sighed and stopped packing for a minute and sat next to my bestfriend. "I'm sorry im being sucha debbie downer right now. I know you love Sean and I know that he thinks the world of you. Please don't take my negativity to the head." I head pulling her into a hug.
"I just hope that one day we won't have to do any of this ever again. I wish that we just had normal lifes and just normal relationships where our biggest problem is arguing over things we don't like about each other." Amie said
I looked over at her and she still had that look on her face. I didn't mean to make her question her and Sean, id never want to come in between them or make them falter. I just was getting stuff off my chest about my situation.
"Listen, I have to confess something too you." I said
"What?" She asked
"I've....been using Max as a rebound." I admitted.
"What? A rebound from Tristen?" She asked
"Yes. I'm trying to not remember our relationship." I said
"I knew it. But isn't that not really working because he keeps popping into my head." I admitted
"What is it with you two. Both of you obviously can't stop thinking about each other so why the big egos? Just get back together and work it out." Amie said to me.
"What just what I said." Sean said walking in with Tristen right next to him and Lilly and Alijah in the background.
"I feel like you two need to talk it out." Lilly said
"I've always been team Zadie." Alijah said. Amie looked at me and saw that I had a
"Guys, come on. We have a plane to catch." Amie said and closed her luggage.
"Yeah we better get going." Sean said and dapped up Alijah and Tristen.
"You sure you wanna stay with them?" Amie asked me while hugging me.
