"Tristen, bro wake up"
I heard someone saying my name but one of my eyes were still swollen and my head was throbbing so it took me a minute to open my eyes. I got one of them slightly open to see it was Alijah.
"Alijah?" I said confused.
"Bro we gotta..." He started saying and then I shook my head and tilted it towards the camera.
"They're listening. They can read lips too" I said
"How you know." He asked
"Me and another guy was trying to escape and they knew our plan before we even got out this room." I said
"Wheres the other guy?" He asked
"He's dead." I said
"Man, I'm so confused. We just saw you at Amie's baby shower and we had a plan that you told us about..."
"That wasn't me. That was Rolland, he has some kind of electronic mask that has my face on it." I told him.
Alijah nodded his head and looked around. Just then the door opened and two men walked in with Sean. They restrained him like me and Alijah were and Truman was right there standing watch.
"Man we gotta get outta here." Sean said and then made eye contact with me. "Oh shit, Bro.." He said
"Im aight, you should see the other guys." I said trying to laugh but stopped when I felt a sharp pain in my chest.
"What's the plan?" Sean asked
"They have cameras and microphones in here. They can hear and see us twenty-four seven." Alijah told Sean.
"Our plan is to die." I said
"What?" They both said at the same time.
"Our plan is to die. Rather us then the girls." I said
"Nah man, I'm a father now bro I can't give up." Sean said
"I already have." I admitted
"Man don't make me fucking shot you bro! You can't give up!!" Alijah said moving around in his restraints.
"I've been here for almost three months! You know how many innocent people I've killed. I have nothing left in me guys." I admitted
"Tristen, the girls still need us. We still have a reason to do what we doing. Come on now, you can't give up." Sean said
"You fight I fight remember?" Alijah said
"Zadie's dead. They'll kill my family if I try to escape again. I can't do that to them." I said
"Zadie isn't dead. She's alive." Sean said
"She died a month ago." I said
"NO! She's alive! We just saw her a few hours ago. She is NOT dead, and your family is fine." Alijah said
"They sent the fake Tristen to your families house a few hours ago, they aren't dead. They sent you away and told you to leave." Sean said
I looked at them and then back down at the ground and just shook my head. "I don't have the fight in me anymore guys, I'm sorry. Whatever you guys gonna do, just count me out. I'm dead weight anyway." I said and then the room fell quiet.
Zadie
We started driving to the pier where the boats were and everyone was talking about how they think this was gonna go or how they want to celebrate once this is all over.
