No one's POV:

Tord woke up to someone shaking with his body that was still asleep. And that person was Tom. "Tord, wake up." Tord only groaned in responce and shifted while feeling the small, fluffy pup Blue stand up. Tord, of course, didn't like losing the warm snow white fur and opened his eyes slowly.

Tom smiled. "Morning, Tordle. Wake up, breakfast is done." Tom said with a smile. Tord rubbed his eyes to get rid of the tiredness and yawned. "Okay, okay." Tom got up and left the room, going downstairs while Tord finally managed to wake up completely.

He petted Blue and followed right after his dad. But when he got to the kitchen, he found nobody. Only some eggs wih bacon on the table. He looked around, listening closely. He heard chatter coming from outside. Tord crawled up on a chair and looked out the window. He saw his family, talking to two men that Tord had never seen before. Or had he?

Tord tilted his head and picked Blue up, who was barking and growling at the people outside. Tord went outside, the guys didn't seem to notice him just yet. He stared at them for about a minute, listening to what they were talking about while closely examining the unfamiliar people.

One of them was a tall man with bushy eyebrows. Tord was amazed and had an urge to touch them, but he knew that was weird and besides, he didn't even know the man. He was wearing a pink hoodie and a cigarette was hanging from his mouth. He had a few bandages on his face that were covering his right eye. The man inhaled the smoke and puffed it out, seemingly relaxing the man after doing so. Tord held in a cough as he looked at the other one.

He was a bit shorter and Tord couldn't help but look at his strange hairstyle since it looked ike chicken wings. He chuckled in his head. But then he remember that he actually had a weird hairstyle too. And then his Tom. 'Yeah, I guess having a chicken wing hairstyle is just as weird as devil horns.' Tord thought. The man was wearing a yellow hoodie and was talking to Edd.

Tord finally decided to get their attention. "Um, hello?" He called out shyly. They all went silent and turned their eyes on Tord. Tord was looking up at the stange men and tried to read their expressions. They didn't look angry or dangerous.

They both had multiple emotions showing on their faces. Suprise, confusion, sadness, shock and many more. Tord was also scared. What were they doing here? Were they trying to hurt him? He looked at Tom and hugged his leg while setting Blue down. Blue barked at the two, as if she was protecting Tord.

Tord looked up at his dad. "Who are they..?" Tom picked him up and Tord wrapped his arms around his neck, shaking in fear. He didn't have a nice feeling about this situation. The only comfort he was getting was that his family was here and that they will protect him, right..?

But Tord was suprised when they let the man in a yellow hoodie come closer and even pick him up. They didn't do anything to prevent them! Blue was barking like crazy. The man smiled at Tord. "Hello, there!"

Tord's POV:

I stared a him, suprised and dumbfounded. I didn't dare to say a word. "Tord, this is Patryck. And the other one's name is Paul. They're not going to hurt you. " I heard Edd say. I looked at him. "Do you...know them?" "We heard you talking about them in your sleep a few times. They seem to know YOU." Papa said, crossing his arms.

"It's true. We're suprised you can't remember us." Paul said. They both seemed nice.. Did I really know them? Patryck turned his attention back to Edd. "So, how did this happen?" "We just found him like this. We don't know, how to turn him back." I looked at Tommy and reached for him, wanting to hug him. I wanted to be with him..

He seemed to notice it, but just stared at me, not doing anything. I stopped listening to what they were talking about until it went quiet again. I looked at Edd, who had his eyes wide open. He looked at me, shaking slightly. I was getting nervous. "What is going on?" I asked.

Tom took me from this Patryck guys and I immediately hugged him tightly. "You can't keep on doing this forever, Edd." I heard Paul. I heard them walk away and saw them driving away in a red car. I started crying for no reason. But I was scared! Who could blame me?

Tom tried to comfort me, along with Eddie and Mattie. We went back inside, leaving Blue there on our garden. We went back to the kitchen, our breakfast was already cold. I didn't stop asking questions, but it was pointless. They weren't telling me anything.

"Who were they?" "Paul and Patryck." I tried again. "Why were they here?" "Nothing important." I couldn't get anything out of them. I decided to leave it be for a while, but it still stayed in the back of my head as we ate breakfast in silence.

Tom's POV:

I couldn't believe it. How could this be..? I didn't know Paul and Patryck were his parents... Well, they adopted him, but they were the ones that raised him. It made me feel really upset as I was picking on my food.

I kept glancing at Tord to see him lost in thoughts. Edd and Matt were too. It was all quiet, all we could hear was munching and the ticking of the clock on the wall. It was really uncomfortable. I sighed and rested my head on my palm, thousands of thoughts rushing through my head.

The thing was...since we weren't Tord's real family, he didn't belong to us. He wasn't our child. It could get us in trouble. Paul and Patryck told us that they will take him away from us and if we refuse, they will call the police on us... I didn't want to give him up! I loved him way too much to do that!

I held in tears when I thought of them dragging Tord to who knows where and driving away. I couldn't bear to think about that. I looked at Tord and he looked at me too. His face looked sad, confused and lost. I knew he wanted answers, but I didn't want him to worry. But I also knew I would have to tell him one day. Whether I liked it or not.

And we were running out of time. Only one week. One week left until we had to give him up. But maybe we can make some sort of deal... Tord wasn't really a kid... He was suppose to be an adult... I sighed once again.
