No one's POV:

Tord was out of his mind. He completely stopped thinking about Tom, Edd or Matt. He enjoyed his new life with Paul and Patryck. Sometimes he remembered them, but he was happy with his new dads.

Edd, Matt and Tom were trying to enjoy themselves, but it was like something went missing. Something big was missing in their lifes. And they all knew it. But what could they do? The month was passing by slowly, really slowly for the three.

Paul and Paryck felt like they already won this child's heart. They knew Tord had trusted them. And Tord was happy. But little did he know what was this all about.. They both knew how to turn him back... They needed him to return to the army as soon as the month passed. But if they turned him back now, they would risk Tom, Edd and Matt finding out. So they waited. Waited for the month to pass away.

Tord was in his room, hugging his toy robot and playing with it. He imagined how he ruled the world with it. And he was enjoying it, he liked the thought. Patryck came knocking on his door, making Tord look up at him.

Patryck smiled and waved at Tord, Tord did the same gesture, smiling innocently. "Hello there! Want to get some bubble tea with us?" Tord stood up, tilting his head. "What's a bubble tea?" Patryck looked suprised. "You never had bubble tea? We need to fix that! Come on!"

Tord didn't hesitate and jumped up on his feet. He grabbed Pat's hand and followed him out of his room. When Paul saw them, his lips formed into a sweet smile and they left to get the promised bubble tea. When they bought some and Tord tasted it, his eyes filled with sparks.

"This tastes great!" He told them, earning a chuckle from both of them. The three were enjoying themselves, they felt like a family. They were a family. But was it really suppose to be this way? Or was it not right.?

There was so much on Tom's mind lately. He couldn't relax and Edd and Matt told him he should go outside to clear his head. After ten minutes, they finally managed to drag Tom outside and Tom just walked away, trying to calm himself down.

He even thought he heard Tord's laugh when he was passing by a park, but when he looked to his left, he saw him. He stopped walking and smiled when he saw him. Little Tord was hugging Patryck's arm while still sipping his bubble tea, his small smile not leaving his face for a single second.

Tom didn't even hesitate and came closer. He knew he wasn't suppose to be with him at that moment, but he really didn't care. He shouted his name. "Tord!" This caught the little boy's attention and he turned towards him.

His eyes slighty widened as he saw his old 'dad' running up to him. Tom was soon right before him. Paul and Patryck looked at him, not saying anything, but giving Tom that 'You shouldn't be here' look. And Tom knew what they meant, but he couldn't just walk off. So instead, he just kept on smiling at Tord.

Tom's POV:

I kneeled down beside Tord and pulled him into a hug. Tord hugged me back, but I still noticed that something was off about him. Tord was looking at Paul with a confused expression as Patryck called my name, making me snap out of it and let go of Tord.

I looked at Patryck with a confused expression plasted on my face. "You're not suppose to be here, Thomas." I heard. This made my blood boil. Not only that I hated being called 'Thomas', but I also felt angry at them for not letting me see Tord. Even though they were his parents and after all, a deal is a deal.

I crossed my arms, letting out a frustrated sigh. "Look, I'm sorry. I just saw him and I couldn't resist, I hope you understand." I explained myself. They stared at me for a good five seconds. "Okay, but we would be happy if you left now." Paul said, clearly annoyed with me.

I rolled my 'eyes', saying goodbye to Tord and walking off. I looked back at them to see them having fun again, as if this never happened. Tord was smiling, I felt my heart ache. I never saw Tord being this happy. His smile was so bright and happy.

I frowned, shoving my hands into my hoodie pockets and continued on walking around our town, holding back tears. I just wanted back the old times, was that too much to ask!?

Tord's POV:

We came back home late. Stars were already shining down at us from the clear night sky and I was exausted. I wasn't really hungry since my parents took me to a restaurant where we had our lunch. And then, we had some ice cream not so long ago. I just decided to get a glass of milk and go to bed.

They both said good night to me and I went to sleep. Oh, but I wasn't tired. I was actually thinking about sneaking out. Yes, I was a genius! Even the thought itself made me smile. I grabbed my Tomee bear and waited.

Until I heard my parents' room door close, I carefully opened my door and left the room. I was here long enough to know where they hid the keys to our house. They always locked it each night.

I grabbed the keys and unlocked the front door, gently shutting them behind me. It was calm outside. Quite chilly. I hugged Tomee closer and ran. I just panicked from being caught so I figured it would be a good idea to get out of there as fast as possible.

I remembered the path to their house. I was pretty familiar with it so I had no trouble getting there. Halfway there, I ran into Blue! I smiled, petting her fur. "Where have you been?" I asked her. She, of course, didn't respond and we both made our way to the house.

All the lights were off. I rang the doorbell and waited, standing there with Blue by my side. I waited for about a minute before the door opened, revealing a tired Edd. He looked down at me and it seemed as if all the tiredness went away.

"T-Tord?" I smiled at him. "I don't want them to know I'm here..." I whispered at him. He nodded and invited me in. He woke Matt and Tom up and they immediately showered me with hugs. I was happy and I told them everything about how I was doing.

They seemed happy with my arrival. Though I couldn't help, but stress out. I thought that the police was going to kick the door open very soon. But they said I should just calm down and that it was fine.

I was happy to be with them and I even made Tom cry when he noticed I was still wearing the blue sweater and that I still had Tomee bear. But how could I even let it go? There was the answer. I couldn't! I loved them all too much!

And as we were having a nice chat, all my fears at that moment came true...
