THE face

THE face. The face which every- most girls like to be attached at. The beautiful face. If only people could have the power to see the insides. If they could, the ugly rises within.

His strong wavy black hair was sweated as usual. His fair shaven face puckered in a way that could melt anyone's heart. And of course, he was shocked to see me. The shorty....the baby girl. Goodness, I hate that title.

"You..." he stuttered, trying to find words to stand in reason of why a girl like me could be in a place like these.

Truth to be told, it was not a place to practice music. It was tacky and rotten smell trailed all over corner. Seriously, doesn't that guy got no place to practice other than this?

"What're you doing here?"
"I..."

I wish I could speak louder as my thinking. I didn't wanna get antisocial right now. No. Not today. I was facing the guy I loathed as always and it'll be a downer if I struggled to even say hi. Well...he doesn't deserve my hi but...who cares?

"Well?" He asked again, glaring through my light brown eyes rightfully.
"Mrs...Clara. She said you guys needed...a songwriter." I said, finally some words.
"Songwriter?" The blue haired guy chuckled like I said some stupid joke. "You do know that we are a rock band. Not...hello kitty's and teddy bears."

I didn't know what was problem with this guy but he was sure of a jerk. Makes sense as a Xander's friend.

All the antisocial flooded right down to the bottom. Just because of how I dress, how I am...the judging is not fair for anyone. Sure I don't listen to rock music or wore studs and sonnets and get drunk but that doesn't change the fact that I can't write lyrics of good rhythm. Every music, every song has a way back to the one thing in common. Reliving emotions.

"Wow." I scoffed looking at the dyed blue haired guy. "I thought music can make everyone good inside. Guess not."

A deep colored person with huge dimples laughed loudly and pushes him playfully saying, "I like her. I like her a lot. She's got good sense of humor."

I knew that I deserved that praise because I could see the eyeing of the ocean dud. The colored person with long hair looked at me with arm crossing and Xander was just there, standing widely and looking at me.

Still at shock that I could be anything more than just baby girl.

"Guys stop." The long haired guy said in an ordering tone. "I'm Quintin the guitarist and those two idiots are Alex the drummer and Rahman the pianist And I guess....you already know Xander."
"No. I don't know him."
