"Never take time to say those three words,
Never take time to say what you feel.
And never take time,
to just swim away,
when you're in an ocean of lies."

"LEILA, is everything okay?" Mom asked, as she was about to pass the garlic sauce to papa who was looking very weirdly at me.
"Y-Yeah. Everything is alright." I said, of course a lie.The truth was...I was feeling all those emotions at the same time. Confuse, worried and many things.
Ever since I sang to those guys other than my parents and Malory, it was quite an unforgettable feeling. They heard my own song, and they liked it. Doesn't this feeling give a bit of fright to anyone? To you like me?
Confuse because I think I just judged a book by it's cover. A dark haired tall book. I thought he was an obnoxious one and now...I'm not so sure.
But hey, I'm not gonna forget those horrible things he did to me easily. It's an engraved one.
And guess what? I didn't told my parents anything about it. How can I And how shall I start with? Besides, they told me to sleep on it and not mentioning the fact that Xander told that I am already chosen.
I should just ignore what Xander tells right. It's changeable.
That's what he is in school.
"Leilani!" Papa shouted and bringing me back to the reality, "Dear girl, where you zoning off to?"
"No...nothing papa it's just..." Inhaled, "Girl stuff."
"Girl stuff? It can't be. You just finished it like two weeks ago." Mom said directly to me and ignoring the male presence at the dining room.
"Sheila." Papa hold mom's hand and squeezed it warmly. "She's seventeen."
"I know Liam...I know. But that doesn't mean she can just lie to us."
"I'm not lying mom. It's....complicated."
"How much complicated?"
"Mom...." I walked over to her and kindly hugged her. "When the time comes...I'll tell you. You trust me enough right?"
"I do Leila. I really do. But tell me one thing..." She hugged me back and then, "Those kids aren't disturbing you. Are they?"I chuckled a little bit and then nodded no. She took a little sigh of relief while papa just finished his chicken fries right away.
"You sure? We could always arrange different schools."
"Nah Mom. It's really nothing."
"If they do anything let me know strawberry." Papa advices me by calling another one of cliche nicknames for me, "And you gotta stand up and do what's right."
"Of course papa. I'll do what's right to do." I said, trying to calm the worrisome they had for me."Good. Let's just finish our dinner."
***
I'm all grateful that I got an amazing family who trusts me enough to do anything at all. But what saddens me most is that...no matter how trustful, how soft feeling we have for each other....they always worries about me.
