"Maybe it was fate.
Maybe if you did look in my eyes,
Took a moment to capture me...
Maybe I wouldn't have fallen for you,
The way I do now."

WHEN I finished it with more smooth tone, the guys were looking at me. Full awed.

I looked and Xander and smiled back at hiss huge grin.

"Dude," Rahman said, calling out Quintin who was weirdly silent. "We gotta have her man. We gotta have her."
"Meh, she wasn't that good." Alex scoffed and I wasn't surprised.

Xander walked slowly towards Quintin position and said, "Quin, so....." he followed the dots to try to get Quintin's approval of this.

It took a huge amount of time to speak up and I was sure as hell that he wasn't ever gonna let me in. So, I packed up my stuff. Glad because I didn't disobey mum and eager to eat the last piece of brownie left in the fridge because Xan finished all of which was left.

"You are in."

One sentence dulled my imagination but sprinkled up Rahman's huge sense of humor. He was dancing super crazily and I couldn't help but laugh a bit. Alex never liked me so he just shrugged and went on to do his own business.

I captured Xan looking at me and mouthed "I already knew you could do this."

I nodded, gratefully. He did know. His believe in me glistened in so many ways that I couldn't hold any of them.

But deeply, I was nervous. Again. But for different reason. I have to talk to my parents about this and I don't know how they could absorb that their one and only little girl, wasn't so little anymore and decided to sing pop and modern music.

But I was more afraid that they would think that I trusted to sing my first song to those guys than them.

I trusted Xan more than them.

And it was timorous.

"Maudlin does two practices at each day. First starts at 7 am to 12. And next one starts in 4 pm to 8." Quintin said, in an orderly tone but weirdly good enough for me.

But...

"7 to 12? I can't."
"Why not?" Alex asked, annoyed.
"School dude." I said, stating the obvious.
"Oh, okay then 4 to 8 then. But you must do two times each day." Quintin advised.

I never realized how busy I could be until now. School, Malory, music lessons with mum. All over again.

And now, extra activities added in my to-do list.

I looked at Xander and made an unsure face which I knew he would get it. In the past few days, words didn't needed to express ourselves to each other. Just glances and nods.
