Love Your Love the Most

Jimmy was lost in the middle of nowhere. In a desolate field of flowers. Everything was silent, except for the distant crying of a girl. Jimmy, desperate for company ran towards the crying. The crying was coming from Emily, who was sitting in the middle of a flower patch. 

"Emily!" Jimmy yelled as he waved his arms to get her attention. Emily shot her head up, and a smile shot across her face. Like in a movie, the two lovers ran to each other, almost in slow motion. As soon as they wrapped each other's arms around their warm bodies, Jimmy began to hear a faint, yet annoying beeping noise. Jimmy looked in  the distance and saw black storm clouds forming, and that's where the beeping noise came from. The storm grew stronger, and the noise grew louder. Jimmy stood there with Emily in his arms with a great amount of confusion. Suddenly, there was a tremendous gust of wind, and the storm was now right over their heads. Rain began to pour down, and the rain drops felt like razors against Jimmy's skin. The beeping noise then became a continuous noise. Jimmy then realized it was the sound of a heart monitor. And someone's heart had stopped. 

Jimmy's gaze shot down to Emily, and his whole body began to shake, and all Jimmy could do was scream. Her eyes were rolled in the back of her head, and her mouth was agape. Her once warm body was now stone cold. Her heart that beat with passion, was now silent and dead. The noise of the heart monitor became deafening loud. Jimmy, still screaming, brought Emily to his chest and cried into her cold shoulder. 

"Emily.." Jimmy sobbed.

Jimmy opened his eyes, only to see a harsh bright light. Jimmy groaned as he put his arm above his eyes to block the light. He then winced at a sharp pain in his abdomen. Jimmy then heard sudden footsteps. 

"Hello Mr. Page, how're you feeling?" the doctor asked. Jimmy groaned again. 

"I don't bloody fucking know." Jimmy said almost on the verge of tears. 

"Where is she?" Jimmy asked, now sitting up. The doctor smiled, and pulled aside the bedside curtain that separated the two hospital beds in one room. Jimmy looked over with big puppy eyes over at Emily, who was sitting up drawing. 

Her skin had colour again, and her eyes looked full and happy. The doctor smiled as he put his hand on Jimmy's skinny shoulder. 

"You're a true lover there Mr. Page. She wouldn't have survived without this surgery. You made her a whole new person again. I mean, just look at her." the doctor said as he focused his gaze over at Emily.

She flicked her hair out of her face, and her hair now looked soft and silky again. Then, Emily looked over to her left, and saw Jimmy. 

The smile she had on her face told a story of a million words. Her smile lit up the whole hospital room. Her eyes began to water as she looked at Jimmy. She then shot her head back down to her sketch pad, and frantically ran her pencil across the paper. 

Jimmy sat there and smiled. Emily then sat back up slowly, and held the piece of paper close to her.  She reached out as far as she could over to Jimmy with the piece of paper in her hand. Jimmy reached out and snatched the paper out of her hand with his slender fingers. He carefully flipped the paper over, and instantly smiled and began when he saw what she drew.

It was the both of them together with their foreheads pressed together. Both of them smiling. He then looked at the bottom of the paper after he wiped his eyes free of the tears. 

Jimmy.. I can't even describe how thankful I am for you. You are my everything. If I was to take everything good in the world, the only thing I'd be able to take is you. In an entire universe, you are the star that shines the brightest to me. You are the wave in my ocean. You are the beating of my heart, you are my everything. When I say I love you, I truly mean it. You're my everything, and then some. I love you so much Jimmy, and I'm glad I'll be there for our wedding.
