Emily sat alone in her room on her blue carpet, with her Epiphone Les Paul guitar in her lap, and plugged into her amp. She looked at her laptop screen at the numerous tabs that she had posted on her screen. She had tabs for Led Zeppelin, Def Leppard, Yes, ASIA, and other classic rock bands. Emily chuckled as she looked through the Led Zeppelin tabs.

"Won't need these, will I? I'm engaged to the world's best guitarists!" She said giddy like. Emily continued to scroll down on the tabs, and a song caught her eye.

"Oh!" she exclaimed as she clicked on it. She began to strum along to the tabs, and follow all of the frets. Getting pumped up, Emily turned up her amp and began to jam out. She began to rock back and forth, thrashing her head like a heavy metal singer would as she played.

"When I get high I get high on speed. Top fuel funny car's a drug for me! My heart, my heart, kick start my heart!" Emily began to sing.

Jimmy opened the front door to Emily's house with a squeak. Jimmy stopped dead in his tracks when he heard Emily's guitar. He quickly, yet quietly rushed up the stairs to listen and see her play. Jimmy chuckled lightly to himself as he peeked his head into her room. He smiled to himself like a poofy git as he watched her play, and even more so when she sang.

After a few minutes, Emily finished her song, and set the guitar down in her lap, and let out a quick sigh.

"And when were you going to tell me you could play and sing there darling?" Jimmy said slyly as he walked in with a smirk plastered on his face and his arms crossed against his chest.

Emily jumped and screamed.

"FUCK YOU JIMMY! she said while holding both of her middle fingers up to him. Jimmy chuckled and shook his head, making his jet black waves flow with his motion. Jimmy sat crisscrossed on the ground next to Emily.

"Do you mind playing for me?" Jimmy asked innocently.

"YES!" Emily snapped back, making Jimmy lean back. Emily dropped her shoulders.

"I'm sorry Jimmy. I just got back into playing because my ex didn't like me playing guitar, so I put it up for a while for him."  Emily looked away from Jimmy as she felt her eyes get hot with tears. She quickly wiped her eyes with her arm before she looked back at Jimmy.  She took  deep breath, and slowly exhaled.

"I.. I don't know what to say.." Emily said quietly as she rubbed the pick guard of her guitar. Jimmy smiled at her, and placed his hand on her shoulder.

"You don't need to say anything. Let the guitar say it for you love. Let your heart play, not your mind. Let your soul sing, and let the guitar be your orchestra." Jimmy said as he placed a kiss on her cheek. Emily blushed a deep pink, and took a deep breath.

"You're right." Emily nervously looked down at the neck of her guitar, and placed her fingers on the frets and strummed. Jimmy sat back and smiled as he listened to Emily strum a familiar tune from Led Zeppelin III. He watched as Emily strummed, and watched as a tear fell down onto her strings.

Emily stopped suddenly, and looked down at her lap.

"And now a thousand years between.." she sang softly, holding back tears.

"Oh Bob.." she cried. Jimmy leaned forward and held her close.

"I know darling, I know. It's okay." Jimmy said quietly to her. Jimmy began to rock her back and forth slowly until she eventually fell to sleep in his arms.
