Winter was confused. She just didn't get why the girl with the flaming hair that didn't smell of smoke didn't have fun playing Doctor. As she hopped in between the puddles of blood, she made her way over to the cell. It had been a long time since she had someone to play with, and she planned to play with her everyday. Doctor, picnic, family, the list went on and on! Anything as long as it was fun. For her friend.

"Oh stars, I was hoping you wouldn't come," Fire Girl sighed. Winter giggled.

"You're funny, c'mon; we're playing picnic," she said, unpacking the food.
"Erm... is it just me, or is that imaginary food?" Fire Girl asked.

"Real food, what's your name?" Winter said promptly. "I'm Winter," she added. Fire Girl scowled.

"Fire bad," Winter said, memories whirlpooling around her. Selene. Fire. Dead. Levena...

"WINTER!" Fire Girl raced forward just in time to catch her. Winter shook her head, clearing it of all thoughts.

"Care for a pickle sandwich?" she asked, holding out a plate of sandwiches. She watched as Fire Girl massaged her forehead.

"What sandwiches?" she sighed.

"Pickle sandwiches?" Winter suggested, jerking the plate forward.

"There's nothing on your hand," Fire Girl explained, then gave up and took a sandwich.

"Want to hear a story? You do? Okay. Once upon a time, there was a pretty girl. Her name was Snow, like me, except snow. So she prettier than her step-mother - want some apple pie?" Winter asked. Fire Girl sighed and took some more sandwiches.

"So her step-mummy forced the girl to - having fun?"

"Just tell the story," Fire Girl snapped. Winter nodded, then took a sandwich.

"So the little girl who's name I forgot was forced to cut her face because step-mummy says that symmetry is pretty - want some lemonade?"

"What lemonade," Fire Girl asked. Winter gestured at the lemonade next to the sandwiches.

"Here. So Snow had scars on her pretty little face like mine and the story and picnic is over!"

"I didn't eat anything," Fire Girl pointed out. Winter frowned.

"Don't be silly, you ate three sandwiches!" Winter scolded. Fire Girl sighed.

"Did you have fun?" Winter asked.

"No. Anyway, have you found any news on Jacin?" Fire Girl asked.

"Jacin? You know Jacin?" Winter asked.

"You mentioned him, you know, the guy with the setting sun in his throat?" Fire Girl suggested.

"Rising sun in his smile," Winter corrected.

"Whatever, so-" Fire Girl was cut off by the alarms blazing.

"INTRUDER ALERT!"
