Levana glared at the blonde boy, his infuriating smirk and his air of defiance. And she was also annoyed by the fact that he was impassive as ever. Levana let an easy smile flood her lips, not showing how frustrated she was. She had called off the trial the second Jacin confessed and brought him to a human cell to be punished. But he didn't have any reaction, and Levana didn't like torturing people with no reactions. It was most dull.
"I do enjoy being in a cell with a queen, but I've got an appointment at, say, now?" Jacin said, his posture stiff and his back straight, despite the fact that he was standing up. Levana hated his sarcasric comments. He had literally no reaction to anything else, and he would just randomly say some nonsense. It was as if he wasn't under her rule.
"I, on the other hand, do not enjoy being in a room with you. Alone. I would be with Sybil, but she's... missing in action," Levana drily replied, then turned her back to Jacin, trying to think of ways to make him tell her where Cinder planned to go next. With her fiancé. Her lips curled as she remembered Winter muttering about Jacin and suns in her sleep. "Do you know Winter?"
"Like, the season? Yes," Jacin replied, but his posture stiffened even more than Levana thought were possible, which meant something. Maybe Jacin was in like with Winter? Levana's lips curled into a small smile.
"Well. She talks about you and suns," Levana said, not quite sure how to phrase her step-daughter's deams and mutterings. "She says you have the setting moon in your throat." Jacin arched a brow, a corner of his lips curling into a small smile.
"And why do I have a setting moon in my throat? I'd be dead by then," he replied, sounding very amused. Levana, on the other hand, was far from amused.
"Well. She's with Lihn Cinder," Levana said. "Kidnapped." Jacin looked like he was going to burst into laughter. Or pass gas.
"Well, Levana. If Winter were to be kidnapped, she would somehow manage to infuriate the kidnappers to releasing her," Jacin said, shaking his head slightly. "And plus, who would want to kidnap Winter?"
"Lihn Cinder," Levana instantly replied. "I suppose you know she's Princess Selene, right?" Jacin nodded, an amused smirk plastered on his face.
"Yes, I do. Funny isn't it, 'I do' are two words used to seal two people together, and here I am telling it to you," Jacin said. "How horrific."
"Very funny. Now, Jacin. I know you like Winter and she likes you back. If you tell me where Cinder is planning to go to next I will arrange your marriage immediately," Levana said. Jacin looked like he had just drunk water and spat it out.
"Wait what? I do not, at all, like Winter. And I do not intend on saying 'I do' to anyone who will say it back." Levana wanted to laugh. Now she knew his wekness. Being tied down by another.
"Oh please. I will give you two a cake. You like cake, right?" Levana asked, walking over to stand next to Jacin.
"I do not like cake. It is disgusting, creamy, thick and delicious. Cake please," Jacin said. Levana's smirk was all the way up in the smirk awards.
"Okay then. Cake it is."
