Guess who's been updating frequently! Not me! Yay...

Chapter 21 is still in the works so for now, I have a quick one-shot for you guys to read because I want to get something out. No matter how shitty it is. Enjoy!

P.S: Adrien and Marinette are dating in this story. Marinette needs help with her physics homework so she asked Adrien to help her. And they've been aged up (18 y/o).

"Ugh! This is so stupid! Why can't the things just do the right thing so I can do other, more important things?"  Marinette flopped back onto her floor. Hard. "Ow. Stupid floor."

Adrien chuckled at his exasperated girlfriend. "C'mon, Marinette. It's just physics."

"Says the literal genius. I don't know if you've noticed, Agreste, but physics isn't my strong suit."

"I know, but if you can grasp the basics--which are really easy to understand--it's smooth sailing."

Marinette grabbed a nearby pillow and covered her face with it. "Let me rephrase," Marinette's muffled voice groaned, "physics no matter how simple isn't my strong suit. Period." Marinette pulled the pillow away from her face and curled up around it. "Forget it. I'll just fail. I don't care anymore."

Adrien sighed. "Yes, you do. You want to graduate, don't you?"

"Yeah..."

"How about this. We go over the basic facts and then we're done for the day. I'll even let you use me as a mannequin."

Marinette looked at him. "You'll wear the dress for thirty minutes straight?"

Adrien nodded. "I'll wear the dress for thirty minutes straight."

Marinette was silent for a moment before reluctantly sighing. "Fine," she muttered.

Adrien smiled. "Great. Do you need me to go over what physics actually is? For the eighteenth time today?"

"Duh."

"Ok. Physics, by the dictionary, is the branch of science concerned with the nature and properties of matter and energy. The subject matter of physics, distinguished from that of chemistry and biology, includes mechanics, heat, light and other radiation, sound, electricity, magnetism, and the structure of atoms. (A/N: This is the actual dictionary definition) It's used in a lot of things. From cancer treatments to developing computer games. Physics also uses a lot of math. In fact--" Adrien was cut off by a light snore. He turned his head to see Marinette fast asleep. He smiled affectionately. "Marinette..." He was just about to wake her up when she started sleep-talking.

"No, Chat," she muttered, "We can't reveal our identities. You know this..." Adrien's eyebrows scrunched together. Was Marinette dreaming that she was Ladybug? Then, Marinette shifted. "There's an Akuma..." Adrien shrugged. Must be a new dream. "Tikki...spots on..."

With a flash of pink and a small, high-pitched cry of 'Marinette no wake up--!', Adrien watched his beloved, civilian, girlfriend turn into Paris' savior.

Adrien paled. "Plagg, What just happened? How? When? What?"

Plagg flew out from his hiding space in Adrien's bag. "Well, would you look at that. Your girlfriend is Ladybug. I'm surprised that you didn't reveal yourselves sooner."

Adrien was incredulous. "You knew?" Adrien whisper-shouted, not taking his eyes off Marinette now accidentally revealed to be Ladybug. "You knew and you didn't tell me?"

Plagg shrugged. "I've known ever since Dark Owl. By the way, I still can't get over the fact that you willingly ate some strange substance in that box thing. I mean, I know it was whipped cream but still. You don't do that! And--"

"That's not important right now Plagg," Adrien hissed. "What's important is that my girlfriend is Ladybug.

Plagg rolled his eyes and shoved a piece of cheese in his mouth. "Yeah. We established that. I don't know why you're so worried. Just wake her up and talk or whatever."

"Whatever Plagg." Adrien tore his eyes away from Ladybug and glared at Plagg. "Remind me to not give you cheese later."

Plagg stuck his tongue out at his owner and flew back into Adrien's bag. "Humans are so weird."

Adrien resumed his staring. It all made sense. The eyes, the hair, the smile. They were all the same. Adrien wanted to throw himself out the window for not noticing sooner. Aside from the looks, he noticed similar traits in their personalities as well. They were both kind, compassionate, stubborn, fierce, selfless, brave, determined, and so much more. He was debating whether to wake her up or to run away when she decided for him.

Adrien froze when he saw her bluebell eyes open. "Adrien?" she yawned, "Did I fall asleep? Oh no, I'm sorry. I'll pay attention now,  I promise."

"Uh...I-it's ok...I...I don't m-mind. Physics c-can be pretty...it can be pretty boring. Haha!" Adrien scratched his neck and avoided eye contact.

Ladybug's eyebrows furrowed. "Are you ok? You look pale." She scooted closer to where Adrien was sitting. Quickly, Adrien moved away. Ladybug looked hurt. "Adrien? What's wrong?"

"N-Nothing, Lady--Mari--! Erm...fine I'm, Ladynette. I-I mean! I'm fine Maribug. Marinette! I'm fine, Marinette."

Ladybug nervously laughed. "Um...no you're not. Do you have a fever?" She started to raise her hand to touch Adrien's forehead before he quickly batted it away. "Adrien, you're scaring me. Why are you looking at me like I'm a...a beetle or something?" She looked down at her hands and instantly jumped up. "Because I am a beetle! Oh my God! How? Did I sleep-talk? I sleep-talked, didn't I?" She looked at Adrien who slowly nodded. "Oh no..." Ladybug hid her face behind her hands. "I'm so, so sorry Adrien."

Adrien stood up and walked over to where Ladybug was standing and put his hands on her shoulders. "Hey...It's alright.I'm just shocked, that's all. I mean, my girlfriend is Ladybug. It's pretty awesome. Just when I thought you couldn't get any better." He gently tugged on her hands but they wouldn't budge. "Marinette...Ladybug...It's alright. I promise."

Finally, she peeked from behind her hands. "You're not mad? You're not upset at the fact that I kept such a big secret from you for three years even when we promised that we would have no secrets between us?"

Adrien gave her a small smile. "Not at all. Because I understand why you kept it. In fact, I understand more than anyone. Plagg, claws out." And just like that, Adrien was replaced with Chat Noir.

Ladybug's hands dropped from her face. "I...wow."

Chat Noir smirked. "Wow? That's all you can say? Paris' most gorgeous supermodel reveals himself to be Paris' sexiest hero and all you can say is wow?" Ladybug rolled her eyes and kissed him. "Wow."

"Really, Chat? Paris' superhero kisses you and all you can say is wow?"

"I was shocked!"

"So was I!"

Chat Noir smiled. "Touche."

Ladybug jumped up onto her bed and opened the trapdoor. "I'm gonna go for a swing. Wanna come?"

Chat put his hands on his hips."And what about your physics homework?"

Ladybug smiled, shrugged, and left the room. And her physics homework.

Chat Noir shook his head and softly laughed. "What am I going to do with her?" With a running start, Chat jumped onto the bed and out the trapdoor as well. After a few moments of running, he spotted a speck of red on the Eiffel Tower. Grinning, He ran faster. When he finally reached her, he gently grabbed her waist and kissed her. Slowly, her hands came up and buried themselves in his hair. He pulled her closer to him and she melted into his embrace.

When they finally broke apart, the two heroes laughed softly and stared into each other's eyes with their foreheads touching. Neither of them said anything, they just stared and smiled, both knowing what the other was thinking.

Because true love needs no words.
