Once we got home, I ran faster than I ever could in my room. I was so sad. no. I was devised. I shut and lock the door, then walk to my bed. I jumped in my bed and screamed so much. I was becoming lightheaded, but I didn't care. I kept screaming. I was screaming for my life at this point. Screaming into my bright-blue covered pillow was all I could do to cope. I was dizzy, too dizzy. But I kept screaming. I see everything go black as I collapse on my bed.

Giggling. I can hear and see my mom giggling. Her light blonde hair going up and down as her and I connect hands, and spin in a circle. It was nice outside. Warm weather, blue skies, no clouds, nice summer breeze with the bright green grass in the valley. My dad was there too, setting up the pic-nic.

Once he was done, he called us over. We sat down giggling and picking at our food in joy. My dad seemed happy, my mom seemed happy, I seemed happy.

I saw only one cloud in the sky. It was white and puffy. There were birds chirping, flowers ready to bloom. Wait. One cloud. I did not see any clouds earlier, though. I let it not slip my mind. While my mom picked up her finger sandwich, she stopped right before she put it in her mouth. I look at her, and she looks at me in return with a warm smile.

She put the sandwich down, and starts rubbing my head. "You know, Eric; one day I won't be here anymore." My mom said while looking at my dad. "Wha-" "And when i am gone, you have to promise me you will be strong." she said cutting me off. that one cloud moved over the sun, it seems darker...colder even. "can you do that for me? can you be that strong little boy for me?" my mom asked, still looking at my dad. her voice is cracking, she is crying. i simply nod, and she looked down at me and smiled. she said "Don't let me be gone." then i woke up
