Don't Fear the reaper P2/2

A week had passed since Felix's unexpected visit and Y/n was starting to get back into the swing of things, Not only because of the threat of becoming a graveling hung over her head. But, because Voltswitch or rather Underhaul as he was known to the bots was not only ordered to watch her; but to also learn from her...

That's right they sent a rookie to spy on her, the darn mech didn't even know how to sever a soul from a body let alone how to shift reality to get to point A to point B when an appointment was scheduled.

"...So, it's not teleportation, it's reality bending?" Voltswitch rubbed the back of his helm still trying to comprehend Y/n nodded.

"In a sense, We could be here on earth...But, still on the Lost light at the same time, understand?"

"Not really."

"Remind me to explain Schrodinger's cat to you later." She said that was simplest explanation she could give for their powers. The grey and yellow mech was still stumped.

"Okay, but why do I look different to the others, but still me to you?" Y/n face-plamed she'd explained this to him before, though had a suspicion he wasn't listening at the time. The h/c girl wasn't so sure on how to re-explain that one. "I told you before...It's possibly what your inner child looks like when it grows up." the mech grimaced looking at his red optic doppelganger staring at him from the security monitor.

"...if that's the case my inner child hit a goth stage and stayed there." he huffed glaring at the monster truck hearse with the black and white paint job, that clashed with hit gray/yellow paint job Y/n was seeing. "Well at least you don't look like a former crackhead..." She snorted glaring at the [opposite of your Hair,skin and eye.} color which looked fake,blotchy and sunken.

Voltswitch and Y/n snickered at this when familiar Scottish accent cut "Oh, how bloody adorable you're bonding.~" they looked at Felix who was frowning at them "Ey, what's your problem we're doing our job." Y/n huffed giving the red head a confused look. "My problem is that you and your little boyfriend are flirting in the middle of a job!" he snapped gesturing to the dead bodies around them.

"Oh, right cult meeting." Y/n awkwardly scratched the back of her head while Voltswitch coughed causing her to backtrack on what Felix had said "...And he's not my boyfriend!" She quickly stated the Scotsmen gave her a look that clearly screamed 'I don't believe you.' he rolled his eyes and went back to soul collecting.

Needless to say the cultists were not happy to find out that there was no invisible spaceship taking them to an alien planet called Libtaria; that the life they had invested in was a grand ponzi scheme, and that their All-knowing leader had gypped them and took off with their money. Some didn't want to believe it; even going as far as to ask Y/n if she was a flight attendant!

When the reaper firmly insisted that there were no aliens coming to take them away. the cultists all looked at Voltswitch to which she and Felix had to explain that; Yes, he was an alien. No, not what they were waiting for; he was cybertronian and Voltswitch had to confirm that there has never been a planet called Libtaria.

Once that had been sorted out, one of the cultists stepped forward and asked "Well, what happens next?" The reapers look at each other and shrugged. "Not sure you're gonna have to wait and see." Y/n answered the cultist looked confused when a bright light suddenly desended from the sky and took the form of a {amusement park,campsite in the woods and peaceful valley.} anything the cultists remembered that made them truly happy appeared to them.

One by one they all started walking to different light sources ascending to the sky. Voltswitch made like he was gonna follow but, Y/n stopped him by placing a hand on his leg.

"Don't..."

"Why not?"

Felix cut her off "Where they're going we can't follow lad..." and the three just sat and watched as the lights got fewer and fewer before slowly fading away into the night sky.

it was oddly somber in it's own way the stars looked brighter and the air seemed clearer, the distant wail of sirens broke the calmness of the evening "We best be on our way reaplings." Felix stated Voltswitch transformed and the two earth reapers got in his alt-form. "What about their leader, it doesn't seem fair that they died while the-" Y/n smirked as she talked over him. "Oh, don't worry he'll get his." Voltswitch hummed at his mentor curiously.

Meanwhile...

"AHAHA! Idiots! the whole lot of them!...ahahehe." A balding man chuckled to himself as he ran through the woods towards his getaway car whilst dragging a suitcase filed with money and other valuables. he unlocked the door and chucked the case into the passenger seat, before sitting in the driver's seat to catch his breath.

"Hehe, j-just gotta l-lay low for a while...yeah, then set up somewhere else." He mused starting the ignition and drove through the back roads oblivious to the graveling hiding in his back seat. The man sighed to himself thinking he'd gotten away with his mass murder for the third time.

The graveling giggled at the man's ego before jumping under the dash and stared fiddling with the wires, causing the car to stall suddenly the man cursed and slammed the acceleration then the brakes, he popped the hood got out and checked the engine, it stared to rain as the man fiddled with what he thought was wrong all while the gremlin looking creature mocked him, it re arranged the wires back so the car started again. The man yelped from the sudden shock but, was satisfied with result he got back inside and stepped on the gas.

the car wouldn't move...The sudden whistle of of a rapidly approaching train caused the man's stomach to drop once he realized where he was stalled on, he started slamming his foot on the gas pedal desperate to escape! the damn car still wouldn't move. "C'mon!C'mon!" He snarled before throwing his arms in the air, He grabbed his loot and tried to door....They were locked? they weren't locked before! the roaring thunder of the trains approach caused tears well in the man's eyes as he struggled with the car and....

His eyes snapped open pain was coursing through his broken body as he looked up at the night sky, "Help...help..." his voice croaked out his eyes widened in horror as these hideous creatures appeared from the shadows looked down at him sneering and laughing at his pain. "God help me!" he sobbed as they dragged him into the shadows soon his his screams of anguish turned into confused yelps and seconds later a new graveling slowly crawled out of the darkness.

It watched curiously as the coroners pulled the mangled body of a balding man out of the wreckage of a train accident. It didn't have time to dwell before an older Graveling smacked him over the head and gestured for him to follow them; it took one last look at the accident and ran off into the night.
