"Hurry the fuck up yo!" I yelled as we ran over to the picnic table.

Stevie had looked lifeless from above so I was terrified of how he looked from down below.

I didn't wanna see someone so young die from something so stupid.

"Sunburn!" Fuck shit poked Stevie.

"Nigga, don't poke him!" Ray yelled at him, slapping his hand.

"Stevie... Stevie wake up..." I said softly as I rubbed his back.

When we saw the young boy open his eyes we sighed in relief.

"Sunburn you okay?" Fuck shit asked him.

I sat on the bench and helped Stevie sit up.

"You okay?" Fuck shit asked again.

Stevie looked completely fine, so that was good.

"Fuck, shit..." Fuck shit said.

Spoke too soon.

"Oh fuck," Ray said in shock.

We noticed blood dripping down his forehead.

"Oh shit... What the fuck," Fuck shit said.

"Take your shirt off, you're bleeding," Ray said.

I took off Stevie's shirt quickly and wrapped it around his head. The blood leaked into his shirt quickly.

"Are you okay?" I asked Stevie, looking at him.

"Yeah.. Yeah," Stevie mumbled.

"You crazy as fuck!" Ray told him.

"Hell yeah," Fuck shit agreed.

"Sunburn is fucking insane!" Ray yelled.

"You're insane," I said looking down at the drop then at Stevie.

Ruben stayed to the side quietly, looking at Stevie with no emotion.

"Oh shit, you bleeding through that one..." Ray said.

Ray smacked Ruben's chest.

"Take yo shirt off," Ray demanded Ruben.

"Fuck no, this is my favorite shirt." Ruben argued.

"Nigga, take the fucking shirt off!" Ray demanded once more.

I looked at Ruben then at Stevie without saying anything. Ruben had took the shirt off and passed it to me without saying anything. I tied the shirt around Stevie's head quietly.

"You're fucking crazy," I told him with a smile.

"Sunburnnnn!" Fuck shit yelled.

I took a hold of Stevie's board because be wasn't in the skating condition. I walked with Stevie back to his house, saying goodbye to the other guys.

"I thought you were fucking dead dude..." I told him with a smile.

"Was it really that big of a drop?" Stevie asked quietly as we continued to walk.

I nodded as I looked at the cars that passed by us on the street.

"You didn't go fast enough," I told him.

"I think I know by now," Stevie laughed quietly.

"Hey," Stevie said.

I looked up at him in confusion.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"Thanks for helping me today... Really," Stevie thanked me.

"It's no problem, but we didn't expect you to start bleeding," I explained while still being in shocked.

"I didn't either," Steve agreed.

"Hopefully your parents won't freak out about it..." I sighed, looking at the head wrap.

"Um... Its only my mom, brother and I... I don't have a father..." Stevie hesitated.

I stopped and looked over at him. I could see the sadness in his eyes and now see himself breaking down for some reason.

"I'm sorry... I would've never known..." I said sadly.

"Its fine, really..." Stevie stopped me.

"My dad isn't around as much either," I started.

"The only time I see him is late at night..." I continued.

"I-I'm sorry," Stevie stuttered.

"Dont be," I told him.

Stevie nodded and we continued to walk in silence. It wasn't a uncomfortable silence, it was a good silence.

When we arrived to his house he side and hid his skateboard in a bush behind the garbage can.

Stevie turned around and hugged me before pulling away quickly.

"Thank you," He said before taking a deep breath, going inside.

I flinched when I heard his mom yell out his name in shock.

"Stevie!"

After standing there for a while I turned around and started to skate home.
