Chapter 4, Can You Ever Imagine?

*Kayla's POV*

Megan, Lauren and I were completely freaked out. We ran upstairs to my room and locked the bedroom door. "Girls, I am completely freaking out!" Lauren said grabbing her hair. "And you think we're not?" Megan asked her while pointing to herself and me. Lauren and Megan sat on the bed. "I'm going to turn off the lights so stay quite and stay still" I said. Megan and Lauren nodded. I went over and turned off the bedroom light.

The whole room was dead silent. The moonlight shined through the window. I slowly walked towards the window. I looked out the window. I saw a man, with black coat and black hat sitting in his car, staring right up at me. I gasped and quickly closed the curtains. "What is it?" Megan asked. I didn't answer her. Lauren and Megan just looked at me as I opened the curtain a small bit and saw that the man was gone. I was shaking. I sighed and closed the curtain.

"This is getting more creepier" Megan said as ran her fingers through her hair. "Yeah, how are we going to deal with this?" Lauren asked. "Well, the police said that they can't help us so we're going to have to find out how to deal with this ourselves" I said. Lauren and Megan looked frighten. I know we'll find a way to deal with this person that is stalking us. "Hey, since we have nothing else to do, why don't we watch Ghost Adventures?" Lauren suggested. Megan and I jumped up straight away. "I'll get some popcorn" Megan said walking towards the door. "I'll get some drinks" I said following behind Megan. "I'll set up the TV" Lauren called out to Megan and I as we walked out of my room.

Megan and I went down into the kitchen and grabbed some popcorn and drinks. My phone buzzed. I took my phone out of my pocket and saw it was a message from Unknown again.

I saw you and your two Step Sisters. Megan and Lauren from your bedroom window. I only wanted to look...-Unknown

Ok, now I'm not going to sleep tonight. I sighed and put my phone into my pocket. "Who was that?" Megan asked. I didn't want to scare her any more. "Just one of the girls from work, just asking if I'm ok" I said. Megan nodded and said "come on, let's watch Ghost Adventures". We went back up the stairs. Frankie and Clara came out of their bedrooms. "Are you girls ok?" Megan asked. "I can't sleep" Frankie said. "Neither can I" Clara said. "Well, Kayla, Lauren and I are about to watch Ghost Adventures, do you two want to join us?" Megan asked. "Sure!" They both replied.

We all went into my room and turned on Ghost Adventures. We were eating our popcorn and drinking our cans of Coke. We were watching Bobby Mackey's Music World in Ghost Adventures, one of my favourites!. Zak, Nick and Aaron were in the middle off the Lockdown. "These boys are truly inspirations" Clara said. "I agree, they are so amazing at what they do". The next part of the episode came up where Zak got scratched on his back. "Who did that?! Did someone just scratch me?!" Zak yelled as he looked around and holding his flash light in his hands.

"Poor Zak" Lauren said. "But yet he still continues the investigation" Megan said. The Ghost Adventures Crew are so brave. Clara looked at me. "Imagine you house that your moving into soon was haunted, the we could have GAC over investigate the house" Clara said. I scoffed. "Come on Clara, the house I'll be moving into won't be haunted, it would be interesting if it was" I said. "Come on Kayla, Zak, Nick, Aaron, Billy and Jay would help you find answers to why the spirits haunt the house" Frankie said. "But seriously though, can you just imagine Zak, Nick, Aaron, Billy and Jay being in our town?" Megan said. Lauren, Frankie and Clara started to get excited. I rolled my eyes and laughed. We continued watching a few more episodes.

About 2 hours later, Frankie, Clara, Megan and Lauren were fast asleep, but I was still awake. Frankie fell asleep on my shoulder. I slowly put her head on the pillow, got off the bed, walked over to the window and looked out again. It was dark, well, I could see the street lights outside and the pitch dark scary sky. I closed the curtain again and looked at my Ghost Adventures poster on my wall. I walked over to it.

"Can you just imagine?" I said to myself as I looked at the poster. I sighed and shook my head. Maybe it's all just a big silly dream. Maybe someday, we'll get to meet the Ghost Adventures Crew. My phone buzzed once again. I sighed and looked at my phone. The message was from Unknown again. But this message said.

Ghost Adventures fan? I knew that...For a long, long, long time...-Unknown

I'm getting sick and tired of these messages that are coming from Unknown. Who is this person? What do they want? Is it someone that we know?. All these questions all have an answer, but we need to solve this problem, before something bad happens. I don't want anything bad happening to the people I care about. I was thinking about the house that I'm gonna get. I'm excited to move into it soon, but knowing there is someone after me, I'm going to have to be careful, but I'm going to protect my friends and family, no matter how dangerous it is...
