Nate came out of the shack and saw kate walking towards him, he looked around, saw the chair placed in front of the pile of ashes, he picked it up and walked towards kate.
Nate: you’ll need to sit down I’ve got much to say.
He placed the chair in front of her, kate didn’t reply and pulled the chair and sat down.
Kate: I know I wasn’t fair with you all.. you must’ve felt abandoned and confused, I’m sorry.
Nate: No actually. I think I am the one who should apologize..(he keeps walking in front of her back and forth as if he’s talking to himself)  I didn’t get it at first, a little bit of an identity crisis if you might say (smiles slightly) but now I know (he stops walking now) we’ve caused you so much misery.. it’s funny how I was the one who resented you and kept screaming that to your face every time I saw you.. even though you’re the one who should do that.
Kate: ( a bit confused) I am not sure I am following what do you mean exactly?
Nate: I understand where you come from of course, I think only Jonathan is the one that completely gets this,( turns to her now) you see each one of us is a certain trait or a character.. and I … was the endless search for meaning and purpose, I was sadness and sorrow, I was comfortable with sadness it became part of me.. it is me, my comfort zone, if anything good happened out of the  blue I would always be suspicious waiting for something disastrous to happen, I felt guilty whenever I was happy like I didn’t deserve it or like I was betraying the sadness, the only friend that never left my side and I blamed you for it, I kept telling myself if only this would change I would be happy or if only that would change I would be happy but you know what? It’s not like that.. that’s not how it works ,once you change something you’ll find another that makes you feel uneasy and wish to change that too, there will ALWAYS be something, and concluding from the fact that I’m the last identity you meet, that means that this ideology was the one taking over your mind most of the time…I’m sorry it must’ve been hard..
Kate: w..wow really..i’m lost for words.. but wait , what does that mean then? You’ve come to understand finally isn’t that against who you are?
Nate: I’m not exactly sure what’s going on, but all I know is that we all can find peace now,and you can finally find solace, the meaning of it all, and again on behalf of us all, we are sorry, but we’ve been honored to be a part of it all.
Kyoko shows up along with jonathan and call for kate, she looks towards them and when she looked back nate was no longer there.
Kyoko: (standing with her arms crossed and a proud smile on her face) I see you made it ! good job kid you handled it too well, such complexity in a couple of hours eh?
Jonathan: we must go now kate our work here is over.
