I didn't really forget anything... I look back till jesse disappears completely in the horizon and then walk slowly towards where we've been talking,.. she wouldn't understand and I don't expect her to...
Now I reached the place, I stand in front of the fence take my bag off and throw it to the opposite side of the fence, and then climb the fence and jump off on the other side and pick my bag up again.
Ever since I started writing these stories I have never actually visited where the set of events takes place, I only watched it from behind the fences and started imagining what it would be like, and I think it's about time now to know how it's really like.
The marsh is more sloping than I imagined, and there is not as much green as I thought there would be ,I walked slowly towards the river, there are no fishes on the sides trying to survive, there are no fishes in the water too as far as I can see , and I have no idea if the level of water really lowers or not I just made that up, the part of the marsh below the bridge though has a bare square shaped area that has no grass in it as if something was there and was just recently removed, I was very intrigued to explore more but the sun was already setting and I had to be home before night.
I started running as fast as I can towards the fence and jumped off it, and then ran across the road when suddenly I heard a very loud beeping of car horns right next to me.
That car almost hit me !! I find myself lying on the ground next to the car, I have no idea how I evaded that but as long as I'm okay, then I don't care, where did that car even come from!? Since when do people drive here!!
A man came out of the car and kept apologizing for so long and suddenly started crying ," I'm sorry I'm sorry , I didn't see you , you suddenly appeared in front of me I'm sorry" he kept repeating the same sentence while I tried to explain to him that it's not his fault, it's mine, I didn't look while I was crossing and was running as fast as I can, but that didn't help and he continued on, I had no time for that really and I had to be home before night so I left him and continued on my way still seeing him apologizing till he disappeared in the distance while his voice is still heard,
"I'm sorry".
I was now walking still by the river but on the opposite side of the road, suddenly I heard a splash in the river and then complete silence, I crossed the road (looking both sides this time) and looked at the river,
Small concentric circles appeared in the water spreading outwards, indicating that something must've jumped here now.
