"Oh, here we fucking go again," Harry snapped as he followed you into the bedroom. "How many times do I have to tell you to stop with this shit!"

"The same amount of times I have to call you out on it!" You snapped back.

"I'm fucking working and you know that!" He said. "Sorry, that I can't fucking be with you twenty-four seven. Some of us actually have a life."

"Fuck you, Harry!" You threw a pillow at him, but he ducked just in time.

"Really fucking mature," he mumbled.

"You're lucky it was a fucking pillow and not my shoe!" You screamed. "And you know what? I'm not asking you to be up my ass twenty-four seven. I'm just simply asking you to be here!"

"Why? Why should I be here when all we fucking do is fight?! Do you think I want to come home and get bitched at by you?" He asked.

"Well, maybe I wouldn't bitch at you if you would just do as I ask!" You said.

"You're not my fucking mother, Y/N," he said.

"Thank god for that!" You shouted throwing your hands up in the air.

"Enough with the fucking dramatics," he said.

"I'll stop be dramatic when you stop acting like a mother fucking dick!" You snapped crossing your arms.

"See this! This is why we can never have a civil conversation because you act like such a fucking child! Maybe if we had a simple conversation shit wouldn't blow up into a fucking screaming match," he stated.

"That's it!" You said walking into the closet. You grabbed your suitcase and threw it on the bed before taking your clothes off the rack. "Since I'm such a horrid bitch that acts like a child and you never want to be around me, then why don't just admit to ourselves that this isn't working anymore. I'm done, you're obviously done, so I'm packing my shit and leaving. You'll never have to see me again."

Harry's eyes widened at your actions. He rushed over to you, grabbing your clothes before you could put them into the suitcase, "Damn it, Y/N, that's not what I want. Will you stop!"

"Why? Why should I stop? Huh? Why shouldn't I walk away from you and this relationship if this is all that we do? You even said it yourself," you said looking up at him, tears pooling out of your eyes as the emotions had built up inside of you.

"Because I love you," he whispered. "And I know that you love me too."

"I do," you sniffled. "More than anything.... but...sometimes love isn't enough."

"But it is," he whispered taking your face in his hands. "It can be if we let it."

And just like that the topic of the argument and all the words that were previously said were completely forgotten. Just like all the other times. Your two-year relationship with Harry was the same routine. Both of you would be super happy and totally in love, and then something would happen and instead of talking about it, a huge argument would bloom.

But then when the other threatened to leave or end the relationship, the thought of losing each other took priority over the reason behind the fight. You loved Harry and you knew without a doubt that he loved you. However, you also knew that the fighting was getting more and more frequent and it definitely wasn't healthy.

You hated fighting. You hated yelling at him and him raising his voice at you, but it always happened. And when it did, it fucking did.

The current issue that brought on the argument was Harry's lack of being at home. He was working on his second album, which meant he was at the studio late or over someone's house for writing sessions. That, you understood. That didn't bother you.

What did bother you was when he said he would be working at the studio late, but then you see on social media that he was actually out having drinks and singing karaoke with his friends and some other people you didn't know.

What hurt you was that he didn't even bother to invite you or even let you know where he was. Even if he didn't mean it to come off as a lie, it felt as if he did lie to you. It had been a good few weeks since the two of you had actually spent any time together, so knowing he went out with his friends instead of wanting to spend the night with you made you feel some type of way.

So, you waited up for him and he finally made his way through the front door. It was obvious he was a bit drunk as you could hear him being extra loud as he took off his shoes and threw his keys onto the table near the door. As soon as he passed through the living room, he saw you sitting on the couch.

The TV wasn't on. There was no music playing in the background. You didn't have your nose in a book. You were simply just sitting there, which quickly alerted Harry that you were pissed.

"I told you not to wait up for me," he mumbled.

"You also told me if you were going to be at the studio," you said pushing yourself up off the chair. "And we both know that was a lie."

**

"I don't know, Harry," you sighed. "Aren't you tired of this shit? The fighting? The screaming matches? What we say to each other. None of that is healthy."

"Couples fight, Y/N," he said.

"Yeah, they do, but not as much we do," you shook your head. "We don't know how to properly communicate with each other and when we do... we always start arguing and then we say everything in the book to hurt each other."

He sighed sitting down on the bed, looking down at the floor. "I know that you're right, but I can't give you up Y/N. I can't give up on us. I love you... when I look at my future, I see you and only you."

"I feel the same way about you, but you can't honestly say that you're happy," you whispered. "And before you say anything, actions speak louder than words Harry. There's a reason why you haven't been coming home or not being home long when you do. I know you working has something to do with it, but not all of it."

"Unless you're cheating-" you whispered.

"Never. I'd never... I can't believe you could even think or say that," his voice cracked.

"I'm sorry," you said.

"What can we do to fix this? To fix us?" He sniffled.

"Maybe...Maybe we should take some time apart. I'm not saying we break up or anything, but I think I should stay somewhere else for a bit and we shouldn't talk to each other either. We need some time apart to really decide if us is something we really want," you whispered.

After sitting there for a few more moments, Harry watched as you started packing a few of your things before walking down to your car. The sun was starting to rise as you walked to your car.

"What if you realize you're better off without me," he whispered.

"And what if you realize you're better off without me?" you sniffled.

"Either way, I'll always love you," he whispered. "I'll never go a day without loving you."

He placed his forehead against yours, "And you'll always have my heart for the rest of my life," you said.

Even though this wasn't a goodbye, just yet, deep down both of you felt as if it was.
