Prior to your break-up a few months ago, you and Harry dated for almost three years. Your relationship to one another was the only serious relationship either of you had ever had. It was so serious in fact, that Harry had been working with a jewelry designer for your engagement ring. However, before he could ask you to be his wife one day soon, you two had a huge fight and you decided that maybe it was time to take a break from each other.

The fight wasn't about cheating or even the distance that you two have experienced over the years. It was more about how your lives seemed to be going in different directions.

Harry had his first solo album coming out, his first major film, and a tour later that year. While you had just finished up at University and were looking into finding a job that you loved.

Over the course of your relationship with Harry, you were able to travel with him most of the time when it came the Summer months and other breaks at University, but you knew that once you found a job, you more than likely wouldn't be able to as much. You also started to realize all the things you hadn't accomplished yet that you've always wanted to do.

Mostly because if you weren't studying and doing homework, you were tagging along with your Boyfriend on tour. Which was amazing and gave you the opportunity to travel, but you didn't really get to enjoy a lot of those places because you were only there a limited time or because fans made it impossible to leave the hotel.

You also knew that one day you'd want to get married and have a family and while you were still young, a lot of people you knew were already in those chapters of their lives.

So, all of this was going through your mind and you started to feel as if being with Harry meant you had to give up your dreams in order to be there for him while he lived his.

Fast forward to the first time you saw him since your break-up, it was at a mutual friend's birthday party and you knew that Harry would be there. You were nervous because you weren't sure if you should just ignore him or talk to him.

Harry had already been at the party for a good while. He kept looking around for you because he knew that you would be there. He felt nervous because he wasn't sure how to act around you. When you told him how you felt and that you needed your own space, it broke his heart, but he understood your reason why.

He was talking with a group of friends when someone said your name as you walked into the room. Harry looked over in your direction and watched you as you talked to other people.

You looked beautiful and he noticed that you were wearing one of the necklaces he had given you on your first year anniversary. He smiled a bit at that and thought maybe, maybe one day you two would find your way back to one another.

The party was going okay, you and Harry hadn't really crossed paths yet. You couldn't tell if you two were purposely avoiding each other or if it just so happened that you two were sort of spending time on opposite sides of the room.

Harry was watching you from afar and he really wanted to go and talk to you, but he felt like he couldn't because you were the one who wanted space, so it should be you to make the first move.

He was hanging out with a group of his friends when he looked over in your direction. You were standing next to some guy, who was making you laugh. Jealousy flowed through his veins as he watched you and the guy together. He was pissed and hurt all at the same time. He knew that you knew he was there and to be openly flirting with another guy in front of him, was just too much.

"Who wants drinks?" Someone close by shouted.

"Me," Harry said quickly taking one from them before downing the entire shot and grabbing another.
