Harry pulled off his shirt for the third time in the span of ten minutes. His hands shook with nerves as he buttoned yet another shirt. You were due round his place in Malibu in less than an hour. He felt good about seeing you again, and knowing that you still felt the same gave him hope you two would be able to reconcile. However, he wasn't getting his hopes up.

After finally deciding on a shirt, he went into the kitchen to check on dinner. He didn't want to go too overboard and make it appear as though he was trying too hard to get you back, but he also didn't want to make it seem like he didn't care. He took the homemade pizza out of the oven and took out a bottle of wine just in case.

Harry hadn't told anyone about what he was doing tonight or that you had texted him a few nights before. Jeff and a few of his other friends had asked him if he had heard from you, but he simply changed the subject. As the minutes on the clock crept closer to your arrival, Harry's heartbeat quickened at the anticipation. Not only would you two be talking about what was the next step for the two of you, but it would be the first time he had seen you in almost eight months.

Once the pizza had cooled, he sliced it up and got everything ready outback. The sun was slowly starting to set along the beach and he quickly realized this seemed a bit too romantic. But it was too late to change anything now because he got an alert on his phone about someone being at the gate of the driveway. He clicked the button to let you and headed inside.

He waited until the doorbell rang before he made his way over to the door. His hand was on the handle for a few moments as he gathered his thoughts and prepared himself for what was to come. When he was finally ready, he turned the knob, opening the door, to see you standing there.

You sat in your car in your driveway for a good ten minutes as you worked yourself up to drive to Harry's house. After you sent him that text, you two are arranged to meet up and talk about everything. But now that it was time, you were freaking out. Freaking out because so many things could come from this meeting. You could either talk over everything and decide to try again or you could talk over everything and find closure you weren't sure you wanted.

You sighed looking at the clock, knowing you needed to leave soon so that you weren't super late with traffic. You turned on the radio, hoping that would help taking your mind out of your thoughts as you drove on. When you arrived at his place, you could feel your palms sweating as you turned the steering wheel as you pulled into his driveway.

You sat in the car, feeling as if you were about to have a panic attack. You leaned your head back against the headrest, closing your eyes and taking a few deep breaths. You didn't know why you were so nervous. It was just Harry, someone who has been in your life for years, someone you love, someone who could break your heart into a million of tiny pieces.

After a few deep breaths, you turned off the car, got your bag from the passenger seat and out of the car. Shutting the door, you took one last glance in the reflection of the window and headed towards the front door. You rang the doorbell, which was weird because you normally just walked right inside with your key.

A key, you still had because you hadn't seen him to give it back. You could fell your hands shaking as you stood there twirling one of your rings around your finger as you waited for him to answer the door. The door swung open, revealing him standing there. He was in a simple buttoned up shirt with a white tank top underneath. His hair was styled a bit back just so that it was out of his eyes.

"Hi," you whispered.

"Hey," he whispered back. "Um, come in."
