I walked into the lab where my boyfriend, Bruce, and my best friend, Tony, worked. Bruce looked up at me and sighed, looking back down at his work. I sighed, remembering the fight we had this morning. I felt alone since all Bruce ever did was work in the lab. He was turning into a workaholic just like Tony. I walked towards the back of the lab, grabbing your computer. I sat down across from Bruce, feeling his eyes staring at me.

"You guys excited for my party tomorrow night?" Tony asked, cutting the tension in the air with a knife.

"I might not go. I have lots of work to do." Bruce mumbled, keeping his eyes down towards his work. I looked up from my computer.

"You aren't gonna go with me, Bruce?" I said sternly. He looked into my eyes, his big, brown eyes showing hurt and stress.

"If I go, I'll fall behind in my work." Bruce said. I growled and slammed my computer shut.

"Fine. Become a fucking workaholic Bruce. I don't care anymore." I growled, grabbing my computer and leaving the room.

•Bruce's POV
I sighed, watching Y/N leave the room angrily.

"What was all that about, Bruce?" Tony asked me. I adjusted my glasses and looked over at him.

"Y/N is mad at me since I've been working a lot these past few weeks." I said, looking down at the table.

"Take a few days off. You need a break too, Bruce." Tony said. I smiled and nodded, getting back to work.

•The Next Day•
I was still mad at Bruce. He's just gonna ditch me to work and work and work and work until he dies because of it. I sat at the breakfast table and ate my waffles.

"Hey. I've noticed you and Bruce have been hitting a rough patch. I wanted to let you know he's working super hard for you." Tony said, sitting next to me. I rolled my eyes.

"So he's ditching me for work, not hanging out with me for work, not going on dates with me for work, and leaving me out to dry for work? All of that is for me?" I growled, throwing the rest of my waffle away. Tony sighed and stood up.

"I'm not gonna intrude on your relationship, but if I was you, I'd talk to Bruce." Tony said. I shook my head and left the room. I went into mine and Bruce's shared room. He stood by the mirror, getting ready for the day. I went into the closet and grabbed my f/c dress and put it out on the bed.

"You're gonna look gorgeous in that, N/N." Bruce said, smiling. I looked over at him, holding in all my anger and sadness. I looked back down at my dress, moving past Bruce to grab shoes that matched perfectly with my dress.

"I'll think about going tonight, ok?" Bruce said. I looked over at him and sighed, going to get in the shower. I got in the shower, leaving my clothes on the floor. I quickly showered and got out, getting changed into an outfit for now until it was time to go to the party tonight.

"I have to go get some work done. Ill see you later, ok?" Bruce said, watching as I began to brush out my h/l h/c hair. I nodded and Bruce kissed my head before leaving the room. I sighed and laid on the bed, staring up at the ceiling.

•A couple hours later•
I smiled and walked down the stairs with Wanda and Nat. I decided I wouldn't let Bruce's workaholic attitude bother me tonight, besides, I would talk with Bruce after the party about all the shit I've been feeling. I looked into the lab and saw Bruce working diligently. He looked over at me and blushed, smiling as he saw me in this outfit. I smirked and left. The girls and I walked downstairs and we walked down the street. Tony decided instead of having the party at his house, he would rent out a whole entire karaoke bar and we'd all hang there. It was a pretty smart decision since the last party we had, Tony had to pay a lot of money in repairs. We all walked inside the karaoke bar and saw it was packed. Tony saw us and smiled, clearly he was already tipsy.
