[ 5 days prior] chan's pov

it's been 3 years since i found out about all the things this government has does. 3 years ago i had been like the rest, mindless and clueless about everyone. only knowing what they allowed me to know. if it until they put me on trashman duty for a month or else i would've never found out, and since then trashman duty was longer a thing. they realized it exposed people to the cold hard truth we lived behind.
it was a terrifying sight, thousand of people, formed into lines. they all had bandages around their eyes.
even now, the image haunts me. from that day i've tried everything in my power to let others realize, expect none had believed me expect for my younger cousin felix. we had been gathering evidence. from peoples stand points who were recently bought it. Practically anything and anyone whose willing to help.

Not long after Felix was able to convince his friends we had a group of 9 including me. they all believed what the government was doing was completely wrong in every way possible. we had all went to extremes to gather the information. enough that we could revolt. Expect it was us 9 against millions. we were no match.

"chan i don't think we're ready to do this" changbin spoke, we were discussing on how we would break out. Jisung said it was an insane plan and changbin who had always agreed with me finally went against me.
"we have to do it now or never, we can't keep waiting" i exclaimed angrily at the two of them.
"if we continue to wait just imagine how many people we're putting in danger. all the hurt souls because we're scared" i yelled. they looked at me with shocked faces, because i never yelled. not to them especially.
"look chan we get it. but we can't risk the chances of getting caught and losing everything we worked so hard for" jisung sighed will looking at changbin. it was quiet for a couple minutes, maybe it was because the tense inside or because i didnt know what would happen if we did get caught.
" I'll escape" i sad after the period of silence. both of there heads turned in union, "what!" changbin yelled "you can't be serious, what are we going to do if you get caught. you have everything we need chan! you can't" changbin wailed and he was right. that was insane thinking and i did have all the information and plans in my head. "you guys could handle, i could get intel from when i'm inside." i replies calmly making sure they didn't freak out more but it was quite the opposite.
"that's why when they take someone they never come back out! you know why!? because they murder them!!! chan this isn't going to be about freeing everyone if we can't free the one person who wanted the most!" jisung exclaimed, he looked the most freaked out compared to how changbin reacted. "but i'll be free after i die-" but before i could even finish that sentence jisung cut me off
"No! your soul we'll be forever suck here! here chan. because it wasn't explored anything else." he said well looking at me. changbin had stayed quiet. maybe this plan wasn't for the best
