Chapter 24

• Mackenzie's POV •

I woke up from the plane ride really tired. Oh yeah, if your wondering what happened at the hotel, I passed out.

When everyone got back to their own house, I headed up to my room.

"We have to tell her." I heard Nash say.

"Agreed, but how?" I heard Cameron's voice.

"I don't know.. Dude we leave tomorrow." I heard Nash say.

I was confused and hopped out of bed and walked over to where Nash and Cameron were.

"Tell me what?" I asked looking at the two boys while folding my arms across my chest.

"Umm we were just talking about telling you we got a cat. Surprise!" Nash said suspiciously but I didn't buy it.

"No we didn't. Look Kenzie, don't freak but we are moving to California with Carter." Cameron said looking down.

"You're leaving me?" I asked sad and confused.

Nash nodded and Cameron hit him.

"Ow!" Nash exclaimed rubbing the spot on his arm Cameron hit.

"We aren't just leaving, just moving out." Cameron said looking at me.

"Sounds like leaving to me." I said and turned back around heading to my room.

"It's not like that!" I heard Cameron call after me.

I sat in my bed just looking at the ceiling until I drifted into a sleep.

I woke up the next morning really tired. Plus, I already have to go back to school.

I got up, showered, got dressed, and headed out the door after brushing my teeth.

I was walking down the street when I heard, "Kenzie! Get in."

I turned to see Nash and Cameron in the car. I rolled my eyes and continued walking until Nash got out of the car.

"Come here." He said and I shook my head now walking backwards.

"Don't make me chase you." I turned around and started running, followed by Nash.

So close. The doors are right there! I felt two arms lift me up. I dropped my bags and was now being held bridal style.

I looked up and saw Nash. "Hey." He said smirking.

"Hi." I replied looking at his eyes. Awkward.

"Hey Nash have you seen-" I heard. Nash spun around and saw Taylor was there. "Kenzie?" Taylor finished.

"Save me!" I yelled trying to get out of Nash's grip but nothing happened.

While Taylor stood there smirking looking at Nash, I was still trying to get free from Nash. I gave up and just sat there in Nash's arms.

"I give up." I said looking at Nash and he smirked.

"Good." He said before Cameron came into view.

"Woooahhh what's happening here?" Cameron asked chuckling, causing Taylor to hit his arm.

Finally, Nash out me down and we all proceeded to go to class.

"Bye." Taylor said pecking my lips.

"Bye to you too." I said hugging him.
