Chapter 16

• Mackenzie's POV •

Everyone has been gone for a few days already. I miss everyone, and especially Taylor. We've definitely hung out together more. In fact, tomorrow is his birthday. Nash and Cameron know my gift, I'm flying out to Nashville. It's crazy to think, that's my hometown. Maybe Mara will be at the Magcon! I will definitely be visiting with my parents. Sad part is, I'm leaving tonight, buuuut I'm taking Hunter too. I started smiling and packing everything I needed so we could go to Nashville. Nash and Cam got me a hotel room so I can surprise Taylor on his birthday.

"Let's go Kenzie! Please please please please let's go!" Hunter yelled running around. I laughed and grabbed my suitcase. "Ok. Might as well be early so we aren't late." I shrugged and walked outside. "Bye I'll miss you guys." I said hugging my aunt and uncle then hopping into the car. Ten minutes later, we arrived at the airport. "Finally we are here." Hunter said groaning and getting out if the car. I locked it, and we walked into the airport. "Hunter, you better have stuff to do because I'm not entertaining you." I said smiling.

When we got off the plane, Cameron picked us up in this nasty old car. It was so rusty and the paint had peeled off. That was the only way we could get in though without being recognized. "They have no idea." Cameron said smiling. "Unless loud mouth Nash said something!" I said and Hunter shushed me. We got out of the car and sneaked into my room. "Alright, so tomorrow. I'll get the boys ready for breakfast, and then chill." Cameron said smiling a cheesy smile. "Ok good. Have you ever wondered.. What if Hannah Montana was real?" Hunter asked. We turned around and gave him the weirdest look.

"Night." I said as Cameron walked out the door. "So little brotha! You excited to see everyone again. It's only been 3 days, but I miss them." I asked plopping onto the bed. "Totally excited and definitely missed them." He said getting under the covers. "Goodnight Mackenzie." Hunter said smiling. "Goodnight." I said smiling then shutting off the light.

When I woke up, my eyes were overpowered by the bright sunlight. "Go away sun!" I yelled putting the pillow over my face. "Shut up Kenzie." Hunter said sitting up and rubbing his eyes. "Today's Taylor's birthday! He has no idea we are here, and guess what!" I said excited. "What." Hunter said and fell back down. "Hayes is here to give you company." I said smiling. I hopped out of bed and started my shower. It was already 11:40. Wow.. I hopped out of the shower and changed into a mint green sweatshirt, white high Easter shorts, and my white vans. Very colorful and not too planned out. Oh well.

"Alright, you get ready. Everyone is at breakfast and I'm going to meet up with Nash." I said grabbing my phone and walking out of the hotel room. "So they are all at breakfast." Nash said smiling. "Ok. Now.. We need someone to keep him entertained so that I can tell everyone else I'm here." I said smiling. "Hayes can." Nash said and chuckled. "Oh come one Nash! You pretend to hate him when really, you love him to death. Everyone can tell." I said smiling. "Yeah yeah." He said smiling. "Alright, ready? I'm going to get the boys." Nash said and I nodded. I waited 10 minutes until everyone showed up. Even Hayes, I though he was going to entertain Taylor? Oh well.

I decided to text Taylor.

Miss you too! I have to go though. I'll see you soon <3

What could be be doing? Everyone is with me. Whatever.

"Ready to surprise him?" Matt asked. "Yeah." I said smiling. Matt is the like other brother I've never had. They all are actually. I walked up to the floor that their room was on. "I'm scared." I said out of nowhere. "Why?" Jack Johnson asked. "I don't know. I'm just not good at surprises." I said frowning. "Oh my gosh! I left Hunter in the room!" I whisper/yelled. "I'll be back!" I said running towards the elevator. When I got to the room, I saw Hunter sleeping. "Hunter come on." I said throwing a pillow at him. "Fine."

"Ready to go in now?" Nash asked smiling. "Yeah I'm ready." I said confident. 415, 416, 417, 418, ok 419 Taylor's room. "Key please?" I asked Dillon who had the extra one since he is roomed with him. He handed me the key and I thanked him. I put it in the slot, and twisted the doorknob. "Taylor?" I asked with tears in my eyes.
