Chapter 20

• Mackenzie's POV •

Mara and I got to the hotel in time to shower quickly and get ready. When we were ready, Cameron walked in mumbling something.

"Why did you walk?" He asked angry. "Because I'm aloud to." I said grabbing my phone off the charger. "Whatever, let's go. Oh yeah, you're Mara. Hi I'm Cameron." He said smiling at Mara before walking out the door. Mara smiled and waved back and I just rolled my eyes.

"Are we all here?" A man asked. "Yes." Nash said smiling. "Alright let's go. Except.. Who are you?" The guy asked coming up to Mara and pointing to her. "Uh- i- um-" she didn't know what to say. "She's with me." Cameron said and then started walking out towards the back entrance of the hotel.

When we got to Magcon, many girls were lined up outside. Dang, why do so many people like them? I mean, they are just normal.. At least to me because I grew up around Cameron. "Alright, so we are going to go into the lounge and get ready." The guy said, I still don't know his name. "Okay Bart." I heard Aaron say and then him chuckling.

In the lounge, Mara and I started running around. We even ran out into the stage and all these girls started screaming. Why? I don't know, but they did. We hopped off stage and went to get a drink until we heard screaming. Next thing ya know, I'm being picked up. "Put me down!" I yelled hitting and kicking. "Kenzie are you alive?" I heard Mara asked. We both started laughing nonstop.

So.. We were just kicked out but kept sneaking in. This stupid security guard won't even let us tell him that we are with Magcon. "We are with Cameron Dallas!" I yelled as I was picked up. I felt the ground under my feet and I stood up straight and looked at Mara. "Thanks." I said and made a run for it.

"Where were you!" Nash yelled and everyone looked at us. "Well uh, see funny story." Mara started and I started laughing, making her laugh. "We got kicked out. A lot." Mara said laughing even harder and me doing the same. Nash tried hard not to laugh, but he did. "Okay, so we are going out on stage, please don't follow because something bad is bound to happen." Cameron said patting my back and walking out of the room with the other boys.

"Now what?" Mara asked and I shrugged. "I feel like we should go out there." I said grinning. "Okay." Mara said smiling. She grabbed her phone and I already had mine. "Let's go." I said excited. Cameron's right, something bad is gonna happen.

It was Taylor and Dillon's part. They were singing buckwild. When the chorus came on, Mara and I ran out and started dancing around. We were wearing suspeners, our hair in pigtails, fake nerd glasses, those fake teeth, and lots of lipstick. Everyone started laughing in the crowd and all the boys were shocked. At the end of the dance, Mara and I ran off the stage laughing as hard as we could.

"What was that?" I heard from behind me. I turned around and saw Dillon. "We partied buckwild." Mara said smiling and Dillon smirked walking past us. "He's cute!" Mara whispered as we followed to go into the bathroom to changed and get the makeup off our faces. "Oooooohhhh you like Dillon!" I yelled causing Mara to blush. "Shhhh!" She whispered shushing me. "So what." She said giggling.

When the show was over, the boys did a signing, and Mara and I sat with Nash annoying him. "Nash. Nash. Nash. Nash." I said until he spoke. "What!" He said irritated. "I like turtles." I said and started laughing along with Mara. Nash rolled his eyes and went back to signing and pictures.

I wanted to see what Taylor and Dillon were doing. Truth is, I still like Taylor. A lot actually. I miss his hugs and kisses. I know.. It's cheesy, whatever. We walked over and Taylor was taking a picture with a girl when he noticed us. "Hey beautiful." He said smirking. Mara rolled her eyes and I just waved. "Hey what's up?" I heard from my left. I turned and saw Dillon smiling.

Mara was blushing and smiling nonstop. "Why are you blushing?" Taylor asked punching Mara's cheeks. "Awe does wittle Mara have a cwush on Diwwon?" Taylor asked smirking and letting go of Mara's cheeks. Dillon's cheeks were now as red as cherries. "Well, Kenzie and I were just gonna go to the drink stand." Taylor said grabbing my hand and walking away with me. "Good one." I mumbled and giggled.

"Taylor?" I asked looking up at him. "Yeah?" He asked looking down at me. "Why were you flirting with Mara?" I asked sad and looked at my feet. "I don't know." He said and stopped walking and let go of my arm. "I'm sorry." He said and hugged me. I hugged him back and smiled, but he couldn't see me.

"I missed your hugs." I whispered and we pulled away. "I did too." He said smiling. After minutes of staring at eachother, I spoke up. "Let's go back now." I said turning around with Taylor. I felt my hand lift and my fingers intertwine with Taylor's. I'm hoping things can go back to normal before the incident.
