The girl stood before the large window. Her face mostly obscured by the black hood of her coat. Tear stains marred her pale features as she stared out of the fogged window. Her bared teeth chattered as she shivered. The chill in the room increased as the rain poured down harder. This was it... This was the price she would pay for all her brother's transgressions. All the wrong he had instructed her to do as one of the ever feared "Witch-Killers."
But, why did she have to pay the price... Why was she - a girl no older than eighteen - being forced to atone for something she had no choice in.
The girl shook as a hand hit the window pane, then another, and another - until finally it was covered in bloody handprints. "I'm so sorry," she whispered.
