Walking Alone

All of your words are kind and sweet.
But they often leave me feeling empty and weak.
They may blanket my sorrow for a while,
But never long enough to keep my smile.
I've been told to leave all of you behind and start a new life.
But you guys are a big part of my life.
You help me temporarily forget how much of a mess my brain is.
But now it's time to face it alone.
Without your shadows following closely behind.
I dragged most of you into this.
And to be honest I don't regret it a single bit.
If I hadn't forced you into my life, then I wouldn't be me.
And on a cosmic, alternate universe, butterfly effect spectrum, you wouldn't be you either.
I'm not saying good bye anytime soon, hopefully.
I just wanted to say thank you.
And that I love all of you.
Platonically of course.
I'll still be around to bug and remind you how annoying I am.
But I don't want to drag anymore of you into this.
My lips are sealed from this point on, unless you read these of course.
