*A week later*

Me and Alex have been trying to find ways to get him to New World and let's just say our attempts are the literal definition of stupid. One of them being me watching Alex float as high as he could and it was just a waste of time...Did I mention it was Alex's idea?

As of now we were in the kitchen. I was cleaning, while Alex was floating in the air. "Maybe we can try to contact my family" He suggests out of the blue. I stop midway wiping the counter to look over at him.

"I mean, I don't know why the hell I'm still here. Maybe it could be because I wasn't able to say goodbye or...I don't know," He shrugs his shoulders while looking up at the ceiling.

"Alex..." I let out, leaving the rag I was using to clean on the counter. He lets out a heavy sigh and looks over at me "I know it's dumb..." A smile spreads across my face as I shake my head having him raise a brow in confusion.

"YOUR A FUCKING GENIUS!" I shout going in front of him. If I could shake his shoulders I would! "Where does your family live? Is it like an hour or two away?" I ask quickly while rushing over to my room.

As I grab my laptop and sit on my bed, Alex still hasn't said anything which causes me to look over at him in anticipation for his response. "Well," He let out staring at the floor "They live in Mexico...sooo" He looks over at me.

"I don't even know if they moved. So, they might not even still be living there" He changes his form to cross his arms "What are their parents names?" I ask opening my laptop.

"Why? Social media isn't around to contact them, not that they had any to begin with..." He let out lowly. "I have my ways," I say with a smile going over to my email.

"Do you steal other people's identity or something? ARE YOU A SCAMMER??" He asked a laugh escapes my lips. "Maaaybeee" I joke and he gives me a look:

"Are you really Y/N L/N? Or was that a lie too?" He asked and I go over to send an email to Nia. "No, my name is actually Carly Shay" I say causing him to laugh lightly.

"This is epic, I'm meeting my idol!" He said pretending to fanboy. "Nah, I actually have a friend who's good at this sort of stuff" I say and see that Nia had answered my email and agreed to do it. "Can we trust her?" He asked causing me to look up from my laptop screen.

I furrow my brows and he puts his hands up "What? I don't know if she's gonna start hacking into my parents things" He said I look back at the screen "I trust her" I say.

The room grows silent so I glance up at Alex to see he was already staring at me "And that's supposed to make me trust her how?" He questioned. "Alex, just trust me alright" I plead as he continued to stare but then let's out a defeated sigh and nods his head.

Nia was able to get Alex's parents address "That's terrifying" he stated while be both stare at the screen "Yup!" I say taking a screenshot and then closing my laptop.

"This is crazy...They still live there..." He whispers almost to himself. He turns to face me "Wait, are we actually going to Mexico? I mean, what if it doesn't work? All that money would go to waste...What would you even say?? 'Hey my name is Y/N and I can see your dead son' Like how would that work-" He started to float around while he rambled but I quickly stop him.

"Alex, relax." I say calmly and he stops to look over at me. Now the nerves were building up.

What would I say to them?

How can I make them believe me?

Alex's POV:

I stop floating around and look over at Y/N. I can tell she was thinking hard about this...

Crap, she doesn't know either...

I notice that she curled her lip...So she does that when she's really concentrating.

"I got it" she finally said which highkey caught me off guard but I float my way over to her. "We're going to Mexico" She claps her hands together and I tilt my head "Yeah?" I let out she smiles.

"Yeah! Well not just yet...I need to save up money and plan the whole thing..." she started to ramble while walking around the room motioning her hands all over the place.

She then stops and looks over at me with a shy smile "I know it's kind of messed of me to ask you this, since you've been waiting around for so long" I change my form and go up to her placing my hands on her shoulders.

"Geez just spit out" I say causing her to laugh lightly "Can you wait till then? Like when I get enough money..." She asked and I smile softly at her. "I've been waiting my whole...ghost life. I'm sure I can handle waiting a couple of months" I say.
