Y/N's POV:

"I don't feel the coldness anymore..." Nia let out wiping away her tears "Did something happen...?" She looks over at me as I was in my state of shock "Y/N...?" She brought me back to reality and I quickly look over at Alex who just looked as shocked as I was "Where the hell did he go?!" Alex shouted turning to face me.

"He just disappeared!" I shout back "What if-HOly Shit-What if he went to New World??" I ask and Alex changes his form to place his hands on his head "This is-Oh my god..." I turn to Nia "I think your dad went to New World" I say "Hold up, the place where ghosts go after they die?" I nod and turn to Alex.

"Alex I think you were right...It's like you guys have unfinished business here and you want to get it done before you go" I say smiling "Oh man..." He said smiling "Woah that means once I reconnect with my family I'll go to New World" He said I wasn't quick enough to remove the frown that formed at those words before Alex could notice. I know he did, cause his smile faded as I return mine.

"So my dad is no longer here?" Nia asked catching my attention "Yes, but that's a good thing. Although that doesn't mean you'll never see him again." I say she nods "See you later James..." I hear Alex whisper and I furrow my brows as I smile weakly at him.

"You okay?" I ask "Yeah" He nods and gives me a small smile "I'm happy for him" he said "Wait so that Alex dude..." I look over at Nia "He's here. He knew your father" I say and she nods again before raising her hand slowly and giving an awkward wave "Hi Alex" she said and he waves back.

"So you really see the dead huh?" I shrug "Yeah" I say "Do you like see them the state they were in when they died or before?" She asked and I shiver at the thought "Before" I say "Thank god, imagine..." I hear Alex laugh lightly "My neck being all broken PHHT imagine" He tilts his head to the side and waves at me "Oh, hi Y/N." He said which caused me to laugh as he smiles.

"What happened?" Nia questioned "Alex is just a dork" I say and she nods "I think I'm going to head home now...Thanks Y/N for the whole reuniting with my dad thing...but I still need to take some time to process all this" She said as I walk her to the front door "Yeah I understand this is a lot to take in..." I say she nods "Yeah it is...Well see you later girl." I wave as she leaves.

I let out a sigh once the door was closed "Crazy day..." Alex said floating next to me and I nod "Tell me about it...My friend finds out about my secret and we find out how you guys can get to New World" I say staring up at him and he stares down at me "You know just like any other normal day" he said with a smile and I playfully roll my eyes as I head over to my room.

*Skip to the night before da trip*

"You ready to go to Mexico?" I ask packing the rest of my stuff "No, I still need to get my things...OH wait" Alex said jokingly and I shake my head. "Wow, hahaha" I let out a fake laugh. "I know, I'm hilarious" He said floating back crossing his arms "Legendary comedian" I say clapping my hands.

He bows and I let out a scoff as I throw a blouse at him, it goes through obviously. He smirks over at me and I flip him off. I was now done packing and head over to my laptop that was placed on my desk. I sit back on my chair as I stare at the screen "Hey Alex" I let out

"Yess" He said over my shoulder while looking at the screen but turns his head to look over at me "What was your internet name?" I ask "My youtube? Twitch? Social media? Their the same-" I stop him. "Just tell me the name. Those things are all gone" I say.
