Chapter 5

                  The beautiful people

After my 3 day meditation session I decided to sleep as long as my body let me. When I woke it was around 4 pm

I walked into the kitchen and looked around. Marcus wasn't home but he left a note

"Dear Y/n, I had some things to do today so you're on your own. Go out and enjoy the city. Have a wonderful day"

I made some coffee and put it into a to go mug. I walked outside and admired the beautiful city in the distance. They sun was hitting the buildings just right and the world seemed to be glowing gold.

"Absolutely gorgeous" I said as I sipped my coffee

"Yes, you are" I heard someone say behind me

I turned to find a young male, about my age, smiling at me. He had light purple skin and pink eyes like Marcus but he had much more hair and smoother skin

He wasn't dressed like Marcus or the other men I've seen. He had on a leather jacket and black ripped jeans. He looked exactly like my type

"Oh" I chuckled nervously at his compliment "Thank you"

"No problem. I'm Ethan" He stuck out his hand

"I'm Y/n" I shook his hand and smiled

"You're the one who defeated the monsters. I saw you that day. When you brought the heads back to town. You looked so...amazing" He whispered

I blushed and looked away "T-thank you"

"So...what do you have planned for today?" He asked

"Nothing really" I said

"Well...since you're new to the city, and well, the planet...I could show you around!" He chuckled

"Sure!" I smiled

"Well lets get going" He started walking down the street.

"To your right you have some homes and yards" He smiled and nodded to the houses

"And to your left you have some..more houses and yards" He laughed

I chuckled and looked at the beautiful homes 

"Hey, have you had breakfast?" He asked

"Nope" 

"How about I take you to get breakfast then" He smiled

"Okay sure!"

He held his arm out and chuckled. I wrapped my arm around his and we walked down the street

After about 30minutes of walking we finally made it to a small area of town where all the shops were

"So I was thinking we hit up this place" He stopped in front of a small restaurant 

"All Around?" I read the sign

"Is it any good?"

"I've heard some pretty good things about this place" He chuckled and opened the door for me

I walked in and was in awe at the amazing décor. The restaurant looked like it had been through space and time itself

"What is this place exactly?" I asked as we sat down

"A restaurant, silly" He laughed

I rolled my eyes and giggled "Like what type of food do they serve"
