Chapter 16

Who the hell are you?

"Okay Y/n! Teach us" Goku smiled

"I don't know...Goku...it's a nice idea but no ones every tried it before.." I looked to Marcus

"I'm sure it will work!" He smiled at me

"Y/n...you can set Marcus on the couch inside if you'd like" Bulma walked out and smiled

"O-Okay..thank you" I gave her a small smile

"Trunks, show her the way!" Bulma said to her son

Trunks and I walked into the house and through the kitchen to the living room. I set Marcus on the couch and gently touched his face

As we walked back out Trunks chuckled

"He kicked my dad's ass!" He said

I giggled "He did"

Trunks stopped walking and looked out the kitchen window

"He deserved it. Sometimes my dad can be..."

"A jerk?" I chuckled

"Yeah" Trunks laughed and suddenly went wide eyed

"Don't tell him I said that!" He said

"Don't worry. I won't" I smiled and walked back outside

Everyone was gathered in a circle and waiting for me

"Okay Y/n" Goku grabbed my hand and brought me to the middle of the circle

I sighed and closed my eyes. I began humming the soft beautiful tune. Half way through the song I realized Goku was still holding my hand. I wasn't concentrating enough anymore and messed it up

I opened my eyes and looked to the group "S-Sorry. I've never had to do it for other people before. I did it wrong. Let me do it again"

"It's okay. Take all the tries you need!" Goku giggled

I smiled and closed my eyes. I began humming again and this time I finished the whole song. I opened my eyes and looked to the group

Bulma had tears in her eyes "T-That was so beautiful" She said

"I have to agree. Even I almost started crying" Yamcha said

"You cry about everything, idiot" Vegeta snapped

Yamcha scoffed but didn't say anything back. It was clear he was scared of Vegeta

"Alright guys. Let's take turns and repeat what we just heard" Goku said

"Bulma" He looked to the beautiful woman

Bulma closed her eyes and hummed the song perfectly

"How was that?" She asked me

"Perfect" I smiled 

She giggled and looked to Trunks. He hummed the son almost as perfect

The rest of the group did the same. Nearly everyone managed to hum it perfectly, except Yamcha

"Like this!!!" Bulma grunted as she hummed again

"I don't see why I have to learn this! Why doesn't Vegeta have to! I'd never fight that monster!" Yamcha said

"Excuse me?" I harshly asked him

Before Yamcha could reply to me, Goku walked over and smacked him in the back of the head. Yamcha fell to the ground and held his head, trying not to cry

"What the hell!" He yelled

"You don't speak about the child like that" Goku harshly said

Yamcha looked up to me "S-Sorry" He said as he stood up
