Chapter 34

Roshi, call everyone

I stared at Vegeta and gritted my teeth. Vegeta was a lot of things. A jerk, a snake, a killer, a warrior. But he wasn't a liar

"Where" I asked him

"I saw his ship descending North of here" He said as he looked behind him

"And you couldn't find Goku?" I asked

"No. Where is he?" Vegeta asked as he floated up into the air. I followed and sighed

"I don't know. I saw him and the boys this morning for a few minutes before I came here. Maybe they went to train somewhere" I looked around and then my eyes went wide

"The boys went to Roshi's house!! Maybe Goku went with him. Roshi can call a meeting at his house and the rest of the fighters will show up" I said as I began flying towards the old man's island

"Why don't you just call the meeting on the way there?" Vegeta asked me

Marcus and I had been here for some time now...but the others still didn't trust us. They were still scared of Marcus and thought I had some evil plan to use him like Paragus did with Broly

"T-They don't like me. They wouldn't come if I called" I softly said

"They don't like me either" Vegeta said

We flew in silence for the next few hours. Of all people on this planet...Vegeta was the one who actually understood me. He knew what it felt like to be feared by people you wished were your friends. To feel lonely and untrusted by those around you. It sucked

We flew over the ocean and neared the small island. I saw smoke coming from the island and looked to Vegeta. We flew as fast as we could towards it. The island was completely destroyed. Roshi's house was on fire and falling apart

Vegeta and I quickly put the fire out and looked for any survivors

"Help!" Roshi called out from under the house. Vegeta and I dug through the fallen pieces until we found the old man. He was hurt but alive

"What happened!?" I asked as I pulled him to his feet

"F-Frieza! H-He found us! H-He took the boys!" Roshi cried out

"N-No, no, no, no!!!" I screamed

"I tried to stop him but they were too strong...He put some kind of necklace on Marcus and knocked Gohan out" Roshi said

"Where did they go" Vegeta asked

"West" Roshi said

"Roshi, call everyone and tell them what happened. Send them our way. We're gonna go see what we can find" I said

"Y/n...Vegeta...Frieza...had another Saiyan with him...e-everything happened so fast I-I didn't see who it was" Roshi coughed up dust as he sat down in the sand

I patted his back

"It's okay. We'll figure out who it is" I looked to Vegeta. He nodded and took off into the air

"Call everyone" I said as I flew up into the air with Vegeta. Roshi nodded and Vegeta and I took off

"Who else worked for Frieza when you did?" I asked Vegeta

"Kakarot's brother, Raditz. And another Saiyan named Nappa. But they're both dead" He said

"So was Frieza. How could he be back???" I asked Vegeta

"Kakarot thought he killed him on planet Namek. And then he came back years later half...machine. He never died. But my future son killed him" Vegeta said

"Future son??" I asked him

"Ah, I see Kakarot hasn't told you everything. Yes. Future Trunks is what they call him. He came back from his future but it isn't our future and there were androids involved. Big mess. Kakarot died. Came back. He and Chi-Chi were already divorced by then. And a few years later you showed up" Vegeta shrugged

"Uh...huh...okayyyy...so he was killed on Earth?" I asked

"Yes. So was Nappa and Raditz...meaning...they could have ALL been brought back with the Dragonballs! We haven't used them in years!" Vegeta said

"Goku told me about those. They grant wishes, right?" I asked

"Wishes that include bringing someone back from the dead. It has to be Raditz. Frieza would never being Nappa back" Vegeta scoffed

"Okay...so...you know how to handle Raditz?" I asked him

"I know how to kill the fucker" Vegeta smirked. We kept flying West until we felt energy

"That's Marcus' energy! H-He's....he's powered up to Super Saiyan" I looked to Vegeta. Worry once again filled his eyes. We came upon a small cave and landed outside of it

"Y/n" I heard that familiar voice from behind me

"Goku" I said as I turned around. He was standing with Tien, Krillin, a blonde woman, Yamcha, and Piccolo

"Frieza and Raditz have. Gohan and Marcus inside of this cave" Vegeta said

"I c-can feel the energy...The kids all powered up!" Yamcha said. His voice trembled with fear

"I just need to get inside to calm him down. Who knows what Frieza is doing to them..." I said as I turned back to the cave

"Alright. The plan is...we send Yamcha, Krillin, and Tien in first. Distraction. Vegeta, 18, and Piccolo will head in through the back" Goku said

"But there's only one entrance?" The blonde woman said. Goku called her 18 but I've never actually met her before

"Yes. When the first 3 get inside...I want you to start making noise. Enough to cover a small explosion that Vegeta will cause. Making a new entrance" Goku said

"What about me?" I asked

"You and I will sneak in from the front after the others. We'll make our way to where ever they are holding our boys and get them out" He said

"Who gets to kill Frieza?" Vegeta asked

"Me" I said

"After the boys are safe" Goku said

"Right" I nodded. We turned and began walking towards the cave.

"You foolish monkeys and humans" A voice echoed through the cave. We all stopped walking and stared at the dark entrance

Frieza walked out of the cave. He had a smirk on his face and was holding three chains in his hand. The further he walked the more the chain appeared

"Gohan!" Goku cried out when he saw his son attacked to the end of one chain. He had a collar around his neck and his eyes looked heavy

"Marcus!!" I screamed for my son. He was on the second chain. He was powered up to Super Saiyan but wasn't moving. He looked sedated

Frieza smirked and pulled the third chain. Out walked the Saiyan that Roshi was attacked by. I completely froze and my heart stopped. I felt like the air had left my lungs. One word managed to escape my lips

"Broly..?"
