Chapter 17

Maya:
After the guys finished trying our drinks. The band and me and Sarah decided to start warming up. I told Riley, her parents, Auggie and the boys they can sit on the couch.

So what are you guys going to sing first Zay said. We're not starting yet we're warming up. How do you guys warm up Riley said. You'll see in a second I said walking to the band.

When I got to my band and Sarah we started warming up our voices. After about 20 minutes we started running around the room to warm up our bodies. 20 minutes later we were just about ready to start.

Me and Sarah went over to our bags to get our in-ears and packs. After we got them we go over to the band to set them up. We were half way through the song when we remembered the others were here.

After about three hours of rehearsal we all were starting to get really tired and hungry. We decided to go on brake and have some food.

Me and Sarah walk over to our bags and get food out. Once we got our food out we walked over to Riley and the others. Hey guys Riley said. Hi me and Sarah said. Isn't it to early for lunch Topanga said. It's not lunchtime yet I said. Then why are you guys taking a brake Lucas said. Because we're all hungry and tired Sarah said.

How are you guys hungry you ate just a few hours ago Cory said. We're hungry because we are working hard so we need food I said. But you're just sitting and singing  that's easy Zay said.

It may look like it's easy but it really not I said. How hard can it be you do it Zay said. Yeah but we have been doing it all our life's so it's easy for us Sarah said.

It's harder than it looks especially if you don't know what you're doing I said. Even when you do its still kinda hard Sarah said. Don't you have to have some kind of training to be able to sing properly Topanga said.Yeah you do I said.

What kind of training Riley said. You need to be able to control your breathing I said. And you need to be able to change your voice Sarah said. What do you mean by Change you're voice Cory said. When you're singing you have three types of voices I said.

What are they Farkle said. There is head voice that is the really high part of your voice Sarah said. Then there is mixed voice that is in the middle area of your voice I said. And chest voice is the lowest you can get your voice Sarah said.
