Maya's secret life

Chapter 25

Maya:
After Zay finally stopped playing with the lights I finally fell asleep. That's until I'm being woken up by the girls saying it's time for breakfast.

Riley:
I got woken up by Auggie jumping on me. Once I was fully awake I see that everyone but maya is awake or is starting to wake up.

Is everyone awake mom said. Everyone but maya Lucas said. How about we go and get breakfast started and wake her up when it's done mom said. Yeah I'll stay with her in case she wakes up I said.

Twenty minutes later mom and Sarah came back in the room. Is she still asleep mom asked. Yeah she hasn't even moved I said. I wake her Sarah said.

Sarah walked over to Maya and started pulling the pillow out of Maya's hands and away from her head.

Once the pillow was away from her head maya rolled over onto her stomach. Sarah started gently shaking her shoulder to wake her up a bit.

A few minutes later she was starting to wake up. Once she was fully awake we told her it was time for breakfast. She didn't make any move to get up. She started falling asleep again. What's wrong with her mom asked Sarah.

I don't think she is feeling good Sarah said. What do you mean mom asked. Well I think she has a fever and the fact that she can barely stay awake means she is to tired.

How about we bring breakfast in here that way she doesn't have to move and it looks like you can't move now that she is laying on you mom said.Sure I would just tell everybody that she isn't feeling well and to be quiet Sarah said.

I'll go get everything and everyone to come here mom said. Ok I'll try and wake her up and see what is wrong Sarah said.

Once mom left Sarah got maya to wake up. Once she was awake Sarah asked her if she is feeling ok. Maya said no really quietly. You know you have a fever Sarah told maya. Maya shook her head yes. Sarah asked maya if her throat, stomach and head hurt maya shook her head yes.

After a while Sarah told maya she can go back to sleep if she wants. Just as Sarah finished saying that we heard a tiny snore come from maya.
