Maya's secret life

Chapter 21

Riley:
After Sarah said she was going to pour water on maya Farkle asked how is that going to wake her up. The water is freezing cold she hates being cold Sarah said. Ok then Zay said. I would back up if I were you Sarah said. Why I said. Because she is going to roll over and probably fall on the floor Sarah said. 

Once we backed up enough so that we can still catch her so she doesn't hurt her self. Sarah started pouring the water on Maya's face. And maya started moving trying to get away from it.

Maya rolled over and fell asleep again. Does that usually happen I asked. Yeah Sarah said. What do you do now Lucas asked. I usually just get a pillow and hit her a little bit in till she wakes up Sarah said.

She grabbed a pillow and gently hit maya. After five minutes of hitting maya decided to move again and fell on the floor. Once maya fell on the floor she finally started waking up.

It took us 15 minutes and she's finally awake Lucas said. She's not quite awake yet she is still kinda sleepy I said. Just give her a her a minute  she be fully awake in a second Sarah said.

Two minutes later maya opened her eyes only to close them again. Are you awake now maya Sarah said. Maya just nodded her head yes but kept her eyes closed. You need a minute Sarah asked. Maya just shook her head yes.

We decided to leave her for a while so she could wake up. Me and Sarah and the boys went into the kitchen to check on dinner.

Hi mom I said when we walked in. Hi Riley dinner is almost ready she said. What are we having Lucas asked. We are having chicken and potatoes salad mom said. Ok sounds good I said.

Hey where's Maya mom asked seeing she wasn't with us. She is in the living room still half asleep I said. Still it's been twenty minutes since you started waking her and Sarah up mom said. She was in a deep sleep so it'll take her a little while to fully wake up Sarah said.

How do you wake her up from a deep sleep mom asked. You pour cold water on her and hit her with a pillow Sarah said. Ok what was the thud I heard earlier mom asked. That was maya rolling off the couch and on the floor I said.

I she still awake or did she fall asleep again dad asked. I go check on her Sarah said. Five minutes later she came back in with maya. Maya came and sat next to me and Sarah. As soon as Sarah sat down she pulled maya onto to her shoulder. What's wrong with her dad asked Sarah. She has a migraine so she's not feeling good Sarah said.

What's a migraine Auggie asked. It a really bad headache that makes you feel sick mom said. Looks like maya is falling asleep on your shoulder mom said to Sarah. Pretty sure she's already asleep Sarah said. How do you know Farkle said. I can tell by her breathing Sarah said.
