Road trip

At the front yard:

"Jessica!!"

"Jessica!"

"I'mma kill this girl-"

"You're gonna kill who?",I said as I jumped on his back.

He tried to push me away but I wrapped my arms around him tighter and tighter, and I thought he wasn't breathing for a sec.

"HEY KIDDOS! ARE YOU GUYS GONNA HELP ME OR WHAT?!"

I turned around to see Dad was faking his tiredness from carrying boxes filled with God knows what things.

I finally let go of Jonah, letting him breath and heard him curse in his breathe.

I ran towards Dad, as I realised I was being chased by Jonah, who wanted to seek revenge.

"Oh my dear kiddos", Dad said as he put the box down and resting his hand on his hip while smiling at us.

I ran behind Dad, using him as a shield to protect myself from being attacked.

"Y'all need to stop playing and contribute some of your energy to put all of these in the car but before I do it and break my old bones lol", he paused to see if we were listening.

"OH.MY.GOD.", I burst out laughing.

"Did you hear that?"

"Hear what?", Jonah asked as he stopped and smiled at us.

"Dad ended his sentence with lol"

We both laughed a little too much, Dad pulled up his sad face to seek sympathy.

I hugged him and said," Aw come on Dad. You're still the coolest".

I kissed him on the cheek and left to carry the boxes as it was getting late.

We waved goodbye to our parents before leaving.

Corbyn was driving and beside him at the passenger's seat was Christina.

Jonah,myself and Jack were sitting in the middle passengers' seat while Zach and Daniel were sitting at the last seats.

It was all chill and fun until we stopped by a beautiful beach that was a few miles away from our destination.

We decided to wet our feets and to take some pics for the Gram.

The ocean was beautiful, even though I'm afraid of the ocean. I tried to stay by the beach to not get my hair wet lmao.

Zach's POV

It is time. Maybe it's happening too fast.

But she needs to know.

What if someone else likes her(?) and gets into our way and ruin everything.

It's now or never.

I have to do it.

I walked to Corbyn as he signalled to me, saying that it is time.

I looked at the beach. Jessica was laughing while splashing water on Jonah and Daniel.

Butterflies in my tummy. My stomach started to make thousand knots, multiplying as I walked closer to her. Heart was beating so fast accompanied with gushing of blood in my body. Everything all of a sudden was on full volume like the sound of waves hitting the shore back and forth. Even my internal cells started carrying out mitosis rapidly. But I tried to focus on her.

She was so gorgeous under the sun, hair flying everywhere, on her face but she still managed to look angelic.
She somehow always looks good no matter what.

I was now only a few feet away from her but she wasn't facing me.

Daniel and Jonah noticed me and froze. Jessica automatically stopped and turned around, this time facing me.

Her brows eyes squinched from the sunlight streaming through the tall trees.

I swallowed the lump in my throat and said, " where's my guacamole?"

Lmao joking;)

"Jessica?", I said as I stuck my hands in my pockets.
