The rest of the party had gone smoothly. Later that evening, Henry dropped  Charlotte back home. As they walked up to her porch, he held her hand. Almost as if afraid she would disappear.

"Thanks so much again Henry. I loved it,"

"You should be thanking the others instead. That was them."

" I know and I did. But I also know you were the master mind behind it all and the driving force of fear to their obidience" she teased.

"Ray told you didn't he?"

"Every gruesome detail," she grinned "Maybe we should start letting you organize more parties."

Henry blushed "I will kill him. And no, never again."

Charlotte laughed at his embarrassment, "You're so adorable."

"That isn't exactly what was planned."

"Henry it was perfect and I loved everything.Stop worrying." 

"No not that. I mean we planned another welcome/congrats present. A whole weekend at the coast. Just you, me, Jasper and Chloe."

Charlotte's eyes widened, " No way."

"Reservations at a resort by the beach." 

"The one that just got renovated?"

"Yup"

"With the club, and spa and games?"

He grinned, "the one and only."

"NO WAY AAAAAAAAH," she screamed jumping into his arms, "OH MY GOSH THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH HENRY." Henry laughed at her excitement as he caught her wrapping his arms around her waist. He loved seeing her this happy. He always wanted to make her smile. "Gosh I could kiss you right now," she grinned.

"What's stopping you?"

Charlotte laughed as she stoop on her tip toes planting peckes all over his face before pulling his head down and landing him a loud one on his forehead. "Wait. This must have cost a lot. You can't just squander money like that."

"We all contributed and our parents chipped in too. Don't worry about it."

"You guys didn't have to."

"Hey you deserve it and more. We all deserve it. You are the one we were waiting for to get this special get together. You can see it as a gift for us all. "

What Henry didn't tell her was that a greater part of her reservation was mostly on him. He had insisted on taking care of it. After everything she had done for him he wasn't sure he would ever do enough.

After their high school graduation he had become very frustrated with life. Being kid danger was beginning to take a toll on him with the villains becoming more and more vicious over time. He had no idea of what he wanted to do with his life as in career wise. He had centered his whole life around being a superhero and just then did he realise it was taking over every other aspect of his life. Things were becoming mundane. That coupled with Charlotte's moving away distressed him a great deal. Even Jasper already knew what he wanted to do. He felt like he was being left behind. That he had nothing to show off for himself as Henry Hart.

Charlotte then took it upon herself to talk to him everyday at everychance she could get. Encouraging him to hold onto what made him Kid Danger and to find a passion. She spent time with him going over several suggestions. Jasper tried helping but for some reason the comfort Charlotte gave was a thousand times better than any other's. She was the one thing keeping him sane. They exploited options till he discover he had developed a passion for mechanics over the years from working in the Mancave with all the gadgets. So he went for something more practical; cars. The year later he went for it.
