The group heard the elevator signaled the arrival of another person but they didn't bother looking up guessing it was probably Goosh desciding to join them. 

"What up losers?" Someone said lightly as they walked in and stood behind the couch "Ooo Jasper nice shirt." They complimented as they picked off the collar of said shirt.

On the other side of the room, Darla stood frozen and wide eyed with a piece of chips hanging from her agape mouth.

The rest looked up giving a passing glance and light waves  "Hey Char" and a quick 'thanks' from Jasper before returning to inspecting the gadget on the table. 

Said individual just stood behind them grinning and waiting for her friends to catch up "what you guys looking at?" 

Darla was nearly bouncing on the balls of her feet as she watched them

"Oh nothing much." Ray started  "Shworz has been trying to improve the whizz watch so_" he froze.

If anything her grin go wider when she saw their eyes widen and their head snap up to look at her. She straightened up taking a few steps back so as not to  get but headed.

There was a loud chorus of "CHARLOTTE" before everybody was scramling over the couch pushing each other.

A small wave of her own and  "Hey guys" was all Charlotte could get out before she was attack by a series of bone crushing hugs. Not so long after she found herself on the ground being cuddled by the boys and she dissolved into giggles. She was so happy to see them she couldn't even scold them to get off her like she normally would.

There were series of 'we missed you so much', 'don't ever leave again'. Gosh sometimes it was hard to believe they were adults. 

A few seconds later she could already feel the lack of air. "Okay cuddles time's over. Guys get off. You're crushing me" she said between laughs. But they didn't budge.

"Just a little longer."

"If you kill her, I will sing the names to Henry." Darla quipped happily from the side.

As if a magic word had been said they all scrambled off her apologizing.

"Sorry"

"Sorry, you okay?

"Please don't tell Henry." 

Charlotte laughed as they pulled her to her feet. "Oh please, I'm sure he will go easy on you guys."

The guys paused to think of all the possibilities and they shudder in horror. Nope. Not taking the chances. Not with this one. NEVER with this one.

They had seen Henry treat some of the guys stupid enough to disrespect Charlotte or break her heart. Some of which she knows of and others she didn't. Let's just say it was never pretty. Sure they all were all protective of her but Henry seemed to take an uncontested charge of it.

They gave uneasy laughs "Nah we'll pass." The girl was more protected than all his girlfriends combined.

Charlotte just smiled shaking her head as she turned to the girls. She will never understand their crazy fear of Henry. Sure the boy had his scary moments but he was extremely caring and protective towards his friends and family. She loved that about him. 

"Chloe," she laughed as they hugged

"Char! Girl I missed you so much. Welcome back home"

"Thanks girl," she then turned to the other woman "And you must be Darla. God I finally get to meet you in person."
