The rest of that week went by fast enough and then came the next. That week end was the one reserved for their little get away. Just two more days and they could head over to the resort but to Henry it felt like an eternity of waiting. Like time was making a mark-time and it was beginning to piss him off. Charlotte came to the Mancave once in a while but he hardly saw her since he was mostly on mission during those times and she never stayed long enough.
She instead took that week to spend as much time as she could with her family and catching up with Ray and the rest of the team. Each time he asked her why she didnt wait for him, she said he had to concerntrate on work and had the whole weekend to hog her to himself. Which then led to him whining for hours straight on the phone on how unfair she was being. That cruel woman just laughed and promised to make it up to him during their small trip before blowing a small kiss and hanging up.
Seriously there were times he had the feeling she knew exactly what she was doing to him.
Friday at last. Early that morning, by 6am Henry was already out of bed. He did quick work of cleaning up, threw his duffle bag into the car boot before leaving to pick up his other companions. First was Jasper and Chloe and then they got to Charlotte. Henry sent a quick text to Ray alerting him that they were leaving before they took the road.
When they got to their destination about an hour later Charlotte could not help but look around th place in awe. The girls pooled out of the car excitedly as the boy's took out their luggage. It was nothing extravagant but the lobby was beautiful.

"Good morning sir and welcome to Lotus Bay. How may I help you?" One of the receptionists inquired.
"Good morning. Reservations under Henry Hart please."
The woman did quick work on her machine to confirm before pulling out three key cards. Jasper requested for his to be double so that Chloe could have one on her own. With that, they took the elevator to their rooms. Charlotte and Henry each took a room side by side while the lovers took the one oposite, two doors down the hall.
"You don't wanna hear them go at it I promise you." Henry had joked.
Even though the rooms were simple, they were comfortable with an amazing view of the coast.
