So this is more for the sake of my writing. I need your opinions on something before I proceed. And plz be honest with me. I will appreciate it more.
So here it is.
I have read my books and those of renowned writers I admire and I have noticed several diffences. Difference in style has never been a problem to me each writer should have their style and be appropriated for it.
But here is my worry and I need ur opinions on it to tell me if it affects my writing positively or negatively.
I realised that I seem to expanciate in my writing more that most writers. Like put a lot more details and I go a lot into depth with the emotions of my characters. My aim for this is to conjure the emotions I imagined when writing that part. What my characters feel and what I hope my audience will get to feel too. I personally love feeling a connection with what I read. All the pain, love, anger and every emotion the i read through. I just feel it makes the books more wonderful and memorable. (Though I might not be an expert in expressing them down in writing)😅
But I know this might not be the case for all my readers.
So here I wanna ask; Is this a problem to you guys or not? The expanciating and digging deep into my characters I mean. Does it degrade my writing or improve it? If you agree or disagree give me your reasons why.
I am particularly a fan of constructive criticism. So If you are going to come here just to insult I would rather you ignore this. It's okay to disagree or agree with any one but don't be rude about it.
I am not mean by nature(those who have interacted with me will know this), but I make sure pple do not overstep their bounds with me.

EVERYBODY'S OPINION MATTERS!!!
I would really appreciate your honest answers so plz rant away😁.
