It had been two days since the friend's returned from their trip. In that time they hadn't seen each other..well except for Jasper and Chloe obviously. They took that time to rest and unpack. Well that was the case for everyone except Charlotte.

The poor girl had been rerunning the events of the weekend in her mind over and over again like a broken record. It lived with her. Today they had agreed to meet up at the Mancave to see everyone and resume their duties. Charlotte wasn't really looking forward to it. Her guilt was still a very present companion. She would have to grow a will of iron in order not to run away from him on sight. She sighed as she stood infront of the doors of Junk n' Stuff. "Here goes nothing."

The first day was actually okay given Henry was hardly in. If he wasn't on some mission, he was out back tinkering on someone's car. It went as such for the next 4days and Charlotte was getting comfortable.

That Saturday afternoon Ray had suggested they all go out for a drink on him since the day was uneventful. Charlotte had accepted absentmindedly as she was too focused on decoding some files and going through the finances of the whole business. She only realised her mistake later that evening when she heard Henry and Jasper whoop at free drinks and a chance to unwind.

Having Henry sit next to her at the bar later that was a bittersweet feeling. The place wasn't overly crowded. Just a small cozy bar downtown. The music wasn't too loud either nor too low. Just okay. Ray had ordered the first round of beer for everyone. She wasn't exactly a fan of the drink but she could atleast stomach it. And right now she really needed something to help her relax. But As soon as she brought the bottle to her mouth Charlotte hesitated. Remembering the recent events and how alcohol had contributed to fostering them, she immediately put the bottle down.

On a second thought, she was fine with being tense unless she was too relaxed and blurted something that wasn't supposed to be said. She was going to have control over this one thank you very much.

"Everything okay? You haven't touched your drink."

She was startled out of her thoughts by the worried deep voice and turnt to face Henry. He was leaning close to her to speak quietly, his hand resting over the back of her seat. Charlotte's eyes widened at the proximity.

'Woah have we always sat this close to each other? And has his eyes always been this intense?'

Charlotte felt her face warm up as her heart picked up beat. Henry just regarded her strangely when she didn't answer him and just kept staring.

On noticing this Charlotte gave a nervous laugh shifting away to put a little space between them on pretense of adjusting her dress so as not to seem suspicious, "Hahaha no no. I'm fine. I-I..umm...I would just rather not have beer."

"Oh. Would you rather the sparkly juice with an umbrella in it?" He teased.

"Haha I will have you know cocktails are as potent in alcohol as any other alcoholic drink."

"Sure Char... minus the 99.99% of sweets in it," he grinned signaling a waiter over as he pulled away her bottle. "One gin and tonic for this beautiful lady. And go lighter on the gin please."

Charlotte blushed hard at him calling her beautiful but still had enough wits about her to protest the order before the waiter could leave, "Wait no. I would rather have just the tonic part of the drink.....if you don't mind." Henry turned to her with narrowed eyes but she avoided looking at him focusing on the waiter. "Just tonic please nothing else."

"Then I would suggest Schweppes."

"Yeah actually that will be good. Thanks," she smiled and the waiter grinned winking at her before bouncing away. She turned to see the inquisitive looks of her friends. "I am taking a break from alcohol. After this weekend and everything, I think I've had my dose for a while." She gave them a tight smile still nervous with how intently Henry was looking at her. They laughed it off though and returned to their conversations
