Charlotte sat behind her desk glaring dagger at the opposite wall, silently seething.

The nerve of that haughty little wench. Waltzing in here like nothing had ever happened. Like she hadn't completely betrayed her friend and broken his heart.

God she had been seconds from digging her nails into those stupid eyes of hers if she didn't think it better than getting too close to her horrid perfume or letting her baby anywhere near all that nasty. Assault charges did not fit right in her resumé.

What was Henry even thinking going for someone like that? And no this isn't the bias speaking. The woman was well on her way to bitch all by her own power.

She had had a few choices words for that stupid attitude of her but held back deciding not to give her the pleasure of knowing how she got under her skin. Plus with the tension between her and Henry these days and how volatile she was she thought it better to engage in an altercation with so many short objects around. She wasn't fit for jail at all.

So with an overly saccharine smile on her face she had sent her away nicely.

"Oh! So sorry. I doubt Henry wants to leave what he is doing right now. Even for you. Not your fault though promise. I mean he is just really a man of commitment. That two-timing business in not exactly something anybody descent wants to deal with. Especially not Henry. Maybe another time? Or you could Please redirect your request to the right quarters. They might even accept night schedules."

Too much? Well she didn't care. At this point subtlety wasn't exactly her strong suit. It was either that or full blown smack down.

The girl had looked totally scandalized and lost for words before storming out of the shop. Good riddance. Her and mental Charlotte gave a mental hi five. Passive aggressive was an art I tell y'all.

Well gone for now. People like her didn't give up easily. She would have to keep an eyes on that one.

So now she was sitting all alone in the store glaring at everything around her imagining the other's immanent demise by baseball bat......wow was she always this aggressive or did pregnancy just do wonders?

Okay two timing bitches aside was it her or did that clock just slow down? She could have sworn it was 20minuets to lunch time about 40minuets ago. Her stomach did a small rumble and she glared harder at the clock willing it to move faster.

You know what? Screw the time! She was hungry and her baby was reclaiming nourishment so was taking it. Plus there were no customers in view, locking 10mins early will make to difference. And she had to talk to Henry before she lost her nerve.

With that in mind, the Charlotte pulled a bag from under the table. Her stomach rumbled with hinder when the delicious smells wafted up her nose. They said good food lightened the heart of men and eased the air. Well she knew it did that for her Henry so she had made lunch for two. Hopefully the news passes better with a full and happy stomach.

Charlotte lock up, took a deep breath and headed for garage.

Henry took sight of the woman in front of him, both hurt and anger filling his chest with a roar. She was smiling at him like nothing was wrong but no he would not stand for pretending. He wasn't in the mood for being civil.

"What are you doing here?" His voice rumbled calm from deep in his chest.

"Is that a way to greet after so long? I missed you." She smiled sweetly advancing for a hug. But Henry stepped away putting the oily wrench in front of him to keep the distance and buff her off. He glared at her.
